As one of the remaining survivors, your goal is simple: do everything you can to stay alive until help arrives.

Almost unstoppable nanobots have swept through your city. The infected don’t stay the same—they constantly shift into new forms, borrowing traits from whatever they become next. You must push yourself to survive until the military steps in and rescues you.

Survival isn’t the only option. You can explore the new forms the nanobots offer, connect with other survivors, offer help, or choose darker paths. Depending on how you play, you might even dominate, enslave, or simply do whatever you want—because the heart of this game is its wide range of possibilities.

Flexible Survival started as a MUCK project and later became a standalone single-player experience. It includes multiple endings and missions, but every run is limited by time. The narrative stays open-ended, and the game is continually expanded with new features and characters.

How the Timed Survival Works

At its core, it’s a survival-focused experience: you must keep your character alive shortly after the city falls to a nanobot infection, until the army arrives to rescue you.

• Many creatures may try to infect you—typically through sexual contact.
• These encounters can trigger mutations, changing what happens next.
• Multiple endings depend on how infection plays out at the end, whether you survive, and which NPCs you meet and save.
