SAS Zombie Assault 3 Introduction
SAS Zombie Assault 3 SAS Zombie Assault 3 puts you in a post-apocalyptic battlefield—solo or with up to three teammates. Choose maps, buy powerful weapons and armor, level up, and coordinate to wipe out zombie hordes.
SAS Zombie Assault 3
SAS Zombie Assault 3 is a fast-paced action-adventure set in a post-apocalyptic world overrun by zombies. You can either go in alone or team up with up to three other players to survive the outbreak. Each map presents different terrain and hazards, so you’ll need to pick from dozens of weapons and coordinate your shots with your squad to mow down zombie hordes.
As you keep leveling up, you unlock stronger weapons and new abilities—helping you handle increasingly dangerous enemies. The game is designed to keep expanding as updates add more maps, weapons, and gameplay modes, keeping the experience fresh and engaging.
Gameplay
New style compared to earlier games: SAS 3 changes the pacing and structure from prior entries.

In SAS: Zombie Assault, gameplay revolved around surviving inside a single building while purchasing weapons from a pause menu using in-game currency. In SAS 2, you moved through a sequence of rooms, spending currency to unlock access to new areas and buy weapons along the way.
How SAS 3 works:
- Choose 1 of 5 maps (the mobile version offers 20 maps).
- Survive for a set number of rounds. The number of rounds depends on the players’ rank.
- After the rounds end (and once all zombies are cleared), you receive experience and return to a menu.
- From the menu, you can buy new weapons based on your rank and select a new map for the next run.
- On mobile, you can also purchase a wide selection of armors using in-game currency—something new to the series.
Health, deaths, and experience
- After each round on a map, a portion of lost health is restored automatically.
- Additional health recovery can also happen when you use the Health Regen skill.
- If you die in single-player, or if all players die in multiplayer, the experience payout is cut sharply—often up to 80% or more.
- Finishing a map grants experience that generally scales with your current rank.

Features
The game puts you in the role of elite SAS operatives assigned to wipe out incoming waves of zombies. You can play solo or jump into co-op with up to three other players, relying on teamwork and fast reaction times to succeed.
The co-op setup supports smooth multiplayer play between Android and iOS users.
Ranks and progression
- There’s an extensive rank system with 50 ranks to unlock.
- Each rank provides its own rewards, including new weapons and perks that improve your performance.
- This progression encourages you to keep refining your skills and testing different weapons and tactics.
Weapons and tools
- Use an arsenal of 44 weapons to fight the undead.
- Includes heavy hitters such as Auto Shotguns, Browning Machine Guns, Flamethrowers, and RPGs, each suited for different combat situations.
- You also get two sentry gun classes and three grenade types, making it easier to clear rooms and control choke points during swarm attacks.

Maps and hazards

- 17 unique maps, each with distinct hazards and kill zones.
- Because environments change from match to match, you’ll need to adjust your strategy to stay effective.
Zombies
- 12 zombie types, each presenting different threats.
- The game is built to handle large enemy counts, with support for hundreds of zombies on screen at the same time.
- This variety forces you to continuously adapt your tactics to survive longer and clear waves more efficiently.
Strategies
Want your team to stop failing? Here are some straightforward habits that help you play smarter and work better together:
- Respect your weapons: treat your loadout with care and use it correctly—otherwise the zombies and undead will overwhelm you.
- Study the map layout: maps change everything. Look for spawn holes and gaps where enemies appear, and don’t let them get the jump on you.
- Watch your back: team awareness is key. Use the radar so everyone stays informed.
- Protect strong teammates: if you know someone on your squad is playing well, prioritize keeping them alive.
- Focus on the weaker targets first: eliminate the zombies/undead that deal less damage to reduce pressure and thin the swarm.
