Prefer something different? Try Galaxy puzzles. You’ll dig toward the center across multiple stages, aiming to use as few Tetriminos as possible. When you want more competition, Explorers Mode lets you challenge other players directly. It’s a good way to test your approach under pressure and see how you rank—plus, challenges refresh regularly so matchups stay varied.

Progress tracking & social play

Tetris keeps track of every line you clear and supports linking to Facebook for Tetris Rank. Compete with friends, compare results in the app, and share your high scores to your newsfeed so others can see your progress over time.

Strategies of TETRIS

• Rethink your strategy: you’ll hear “be patient,” and that’s partly true—though you only have three minutes to show what you can do. Stay calm, but don’t get stuck waiting.



• Prioritize fast, efficient clears: clearing lines quickly and cleanly increases your multiplier. With only three minutes, speed of decisions matters just as much as survival.
• Don’t forget “Hold”: many Tetris games include a Hold Queue. If the Hold slot (top-left) is empty and you’re unsure what to do with your current Tetrimino—or you want it for a future combo—store it. When you’re ready, swap it back into play.
• Watch the “Next Queue”: the Next Queue (top-right) shows upcoming pieces, helping you plan ahead.
• Practice makes mastery: learning Tetris is quick, but becoming great takes time. Each match teaches you something—successful or not. Stay focused, stay steady, and keep practicing so you start recognizing patterns, reacting faster, and scoring higher.
