I’m not going to lie—coming back to CoM turned out to be tougher than I expected. Especially during the first few days, I didn’t get much done. I had trouble focusing and kept feeling like I wanted to walk away. So I slowed down: taking my time, doing a bit here and a bit there. In the end, I did manage to finish a few things.

What’s New in CoM

• I completed the planning for the changes I mentioned a few months ago.
• I started work on a new environment shown above, and two additional environments to go with it. All of them are completed and ready to be used.



• I finished animating a new sex scene (rendering is still in progress).
• I wrote a few new events and created the images for them.

Not a massive update, but not nothing either. MGLH is a very freeing, very enjoyable project—while CoM carries a lot of accumulated “baggage.” So I decided not to stress it too much. I’m taking my time, moving slowly, and working on MGLH when I need a breath of fresh air.

What’s New in MGLH

• I made a lot of changes to the minigame. Since many players felt it was too demanding, I adjusted it to be clearer, easier, and less stressful.
• I updated parts of the UI where switching locations wasn’t intuitive.
• I added options to recover stamina alongside the video game.



• I added three new smalltalk events.
• I very slightly animated the living room background.
• I fixed a few typos.

That’s everything for this status report. It isn’t the biggest milestone, but progress was still made. Wishing everyone a great week—I’ll be working on the games!

• “Difficult to rank.” The story feels very ambitious. In a final version, it would likely be a full 5/5. Right now, though, early on it’s closer to a 3/5. The companions are implemented really well, each in their own way. The weakest character is actually the MC, who looks poorly implemented compared to Noreia from MIST. The grind has been reduced a lot compared to its predecessor, and the dating tree is a nice addition. 4/5 for v0.5.1.

• “This is by far the most well done VN…” The reviewer says it’s the best visual novel they’ve seen on this site so far. They expected to just “wank,” but ended up getting pulled into an intense story. The production quality is described as incredible: each scene has a fitting soundtrack, the visuals are stunning, the scenery is breathtaking, and the characters are impressive. The story is captivating with real depth in the cast—so much so that you “need to play this.”

• “Fantastic new game…” A fan calls it a truly awesome and unique title from the creator of MIST. They describe it as dark, immersive, bizarre, and interesting enough to keep playing even without the adult content purely for the story. They also note that the lewd material focuses more on intimacy than pure debauchery. The UI is great (the comment cuts off mid-sentence).
