You’ll take part in intense battles, guiding your hero Jundu toward victory. To succeed, you’ll need to grow a strong army, keep upgrading it, and push deeper into dangerous dungeons to gather the materials required to craft new gear and weapons—steadily boosting your overall power.

Gameplay

Most of your time is spent completing quests. They generally fall into three categories:

• Keep tasks: build structures and craft/forge armor
• Dungeon runs: defeat monsters inside dungeons
• Arena battles: fight against other players

Building your keep

Building is typical of free-to-play mechanics: you purchase property, pay the required gold, and then wait for construction to finish.

Armor is a major part of strategy. Each armor set is tied to a specific element (such as Wind, Earth, Water). That element matters when you face different enemies. For instance, a fire monster is generally weaker against heroes wearing water-based gear. You can also combine and upgrade armor to improve both damage and defense.

Dungeon challenges

Many quests send you into dungeons. Each dungeon includes several unlockable difficulty levels, from Normal up to Epic, and each run tests you with waves of monsters. As you clear more dungeons, you can add up to three companions to your squad.

Combat basics: Combat isn’t overly complex (details are handled in the game’s controls/instructions below). During dungeon fights, each wave drops items that can help you craft armor. Any health lost in battle is restored in one of two ways: by using healing potions or by waiting for a set amount of time.

Arena mode

The Arena works like a separate game mode from the main experience. You still use the same team, but with different armor. Your health bar is independent from the main game, and you fight using a limited energy resource.

Before each round, you choose an opponent to battle. The goal is to build a win streak. Winning streaks grant bonuses like extra armor benefits and more energy. Because energy is limited, streaks higher than five typically require buying more energy through in-app purchases. After every match, your health is fully restored.
