• One of my biggest concerns with visual novels is that many developers concentrate too much on the “novel” aspect and forget the “visual” part. I think it’s awesome that Let’s MEAT Adam 2 is genuinely as visual as a visual novel can be. The game feels well-crafted, highly detailed, and the story is set in the porn industry—honestly, what else could you want?



• I’m giving it a four. One point for the gore, one for horror, one for the character designs/eye candy, and another for how a bit challenging it is—I like games that make you search for walkthroughs. No extra points for the “sexy” content, since there wasn’t really much in the game that would genuinely turn you on. Let’s be real: there’s probably nothing here that beats what people have already seen elsewhere.
• I mostly agree with another reviewer: the setting, mood, and overall storyline felt even darker or at least just as well realized as LMA1. This new Adam is a big shift from Adam (1)—I loved his look and the small moments where the player could influence his mannerisms and mindset. It made it easier to feel connected to him. I also had some route ideas I didn’t originally share, but here they are.
  • Evil Endings / Abzi Route: Playing Adam as suspicious and dishonest—lying to Soren about an appointment, buttering up Tad, agreeing with Hunter’s ideology, being harsh to Tommy, trying to position himself with John/Jon, and then showing interest in Abzi’s art. He keeps certain situations involving River/Tommy secret during phone calls, gets deeply involved in the porn studio work, and there could be a moment where Abzi finds Adam’s drive especially alluring—leading to a shared “crown/throne” dynamic and an Abzi scene. After that, you’d be able to decide whether to kill Abzi using a switchblade and take his place, or rule together.
  • Chuck Route(s): If you spend more time with Chuck and avoid revealing details about River/Tommy to Adam’s friend on the phone—plus choose the “maybe it won’t be so bad” option—this route opens up. Adam seeks Chuck out in desperation after Evander’s murder, and the two decide to fight back (starting from a “Really hot” option at Shakey’s). There’s also an escape option for a calmer life elsewhere (starting from a “Very Sweet” option), leading to a sweeter ending. The fighter path can go badly if you don’t save the right Insight points.
  For both routes, the reviewer suggests using optional moments—like choosing whether or not to go to Evander’s July 4th date, Abzi’s party, or Chuck’s Manhattan Beach house party—to gain more insight into each character, add more content opportunities, and strengthen the romantic dynamics that help decide who the culprits are.
