Air strafing lets you change your trajectory while in the air after a slidejump. It can help you recover after a dash or reposition around corners mid-slide.

Even though this isn’t always the most useful technique during direct fights, it can help you travel faster across the map and bait or juke opponents.

Wall Jump / Wall Bounce

The Wall Jump / Wall Bounce mechanic went through multiple versions, but only one iteration was fully intended by the developers. That version was removed shortly after. This guide won’t cover it. The first Wall Jump iteration was extremely difficult to perform and worked only about half the time.

• Slide into a wall: After colliding with a wall, wait about a second or two.



• Jump and hold reverse inputs: Jump, then hold the reverse directional keys.

Walldash

Walldash is based on a dash condition: when a player is completely immobilized during a dash, performing a jump while the movement key(s) are still pressed triggers a boosted jump in the direction you want (influenced by your player orientation). The jump begins with full momentum and is slightly faster than a full-speed jump—making it one of the most impactful ways to end a dash while fighting.

A dashing player can become immobilized by:

• Getting stuck in a corner
• Colliding with a wall at an angle very close to 90°
