Powder Game Introduction

Powder Game Powder Game is a casual simulation sandbox where you combine materials and tools to create explosive, physics-driven scenes. Watch changes in view mode, then share your best worlds with the community.

Powder Game

Powder Game is a lighthearted, casual sandbox simulation where you can combine different materials and tools to build your own surprising world. In View Mode, you can watch how materials react over time—for example, how fire can ignite and interact with gunpowder to produce an explosion.

The game also has an active community. Share your creations, browse what other players have made, tweak designs to match your preferences, and use new ideas to create even more impressive scenes.

Special Objects

Some unique objects can be placed inside the game:

Wheel

Powder Game

  • Max wheels on screen: 100 at a time.

Player, Fighter, and Box

  • Max total on screen: 50 combined (Player + Fighter + Box).
  • Alive players limit: only two players can be alive at once.

Bubble

  • Creates a bubble that pops when it touches a block.
  • After popping, it can turn into any element it touches—except fan and soapy.

Block

  • Places an indestructible wall.

Ball

  • A rolling, bouncing projectile.
  • Balls move and bounce at high speed.
  • There are many types, and each one has its own behavior and properties.

Create

  • Acts like an object cloner.
  • It can clone almost any object, but it cannot clone wheel, block, or bubble.

Materials

  • Powder: the default material. Burns at a moderate pace and releases only a small-to-medium amount of energy.
  • Water: can extinguish fire and help trees grow. If it touches Ice, it can turn into ice itself. With enough magma, it can even remove magma. It does not burn.
  • Fire: ignites things. It fades quickly, but produces a large amount of energy when there’s a lot of it.
  • Powder Game

  • Seed: when placed on top of Powder, it grows into a tree. Burns moderately and doesn’t release much energy.
  • Tree: can be obtained only from Seed + Powder (or by cloning). It burns slowly but generates lots of energy.
  • Gunpowder: when ignited, it explodes with moderate energy and at a fast speed.
  • Fan: continuously produces energy. If magma keeps hitting it, the fan can slowly wear down.
  • Ice: ice can multiply water into more ice. Strong wind can turn ice into Snow. Ice cannot burn, but magma can melt it.
  • Snow: doesn’t last long. When hit by strong wind, ice turns into snow; after a few seconds, snow typically becomes water.
  • Super Ball: bouncy and sometimes frustrating, but still fun. It can’t burn, though magma can melt it—if you can stop it from bouncing long enough.
  • Clone: repeatedly generates the material it was first hit with. It’s helpful for things like tree growth, but if you leave it running, it can quickly reach the “Powder Limit”*.
  • Fireworks: choose another material using the left mouse button to put almost anything inside a firework (the default inside material is Powder). These must be ignited for the contained material to be released.

*Powder Limit: a cap that prevents excessive powder/material generation from running unchecked.

Player Feedback (Comments)

“This game is so fun!” You can do so many things and see lots of reactions. One suggestion is to improve the experience by adding sound effects to powders and liquids, and also expanding options for fighters and players. Another idea is to reduce or remove limits on placement (like limited dots), which would make larger, cooler, or more exciting creations easier. The player also asks for more materials—such as wood, slime, wax, and other additions—so the sandbox has more variety and keeps people playing.

Another comment praises experimentation, discovering what others have built, and trying to design new creations. They say the game meets expectations overall, but they report issues with controls and sensitivity, especially with player movement. They mention that throwing powder feels inconsistent and that movement can be too abrupt, making it hard to finish maps. They also note that the app doesn’t allow sharing anything, and that the game seems to lack “dirt” even though there are seeds—suggesting more new plants and powders would help keep the game fresh.

More Material Ideas Suggested

  • Dirt
  • Switch (for electricity)
  • Black Hole / Vortex
  • Valve (for pumps/liquids)
  • Wood
  • Tree Seed
  • Rabbit
  • TNT / Dynamite
  • Cat (chance to push objects and scratch wood)
  • Bleach
  • Plastic
  • Atomic power plants / nuclear warheads (ability to create)
  • Powder Game

Reported Bug

One crucial issue mentioned: if you save a box that contains wiring and electricity travels through metal, reloading can turn it into “little thunder powders” and completely mess up the wiring. The player asks for this bug to be fixed.

Thanks

One player expresses gratitude to Dan-ball, saying these games have been part of their childhood and inspired their love for sandbox games. They also mention they’ve built creations they truly value.
