Yuri University is a story-focused casual game where you step into the role of a young woman starting an exciting university life with her best friend at Yuri University. Along the way, you’ll meet several girls, each with their own personality and preferences. Every day, you choose how to plan your schedule—whether that means talking and bonding with the girls or putting your time into studying. What you do is up to you.

Your main objective is to keep a healthy balance: maintain strong academic progress while also growing the girls’ affection. Do well enough to pass your exams, and you’ll gradually unlock more intimate moments and deeper interactions. The game is actively being updated, with new mechanics, story moments, and more detailed intimate animations planned to keep the experience fresh.

Gameplay

Yuri University follows a sandbox visual novel style with stat management. Each in-game day, you decide:

• Which location you want to visit
• What activity you’ll take part in
• Who you want to interact with

How progression works:

• Different activities improve your stats, which then open up extra choices and options during scenes.
• Don’t neglect studying—there are three exams each year. Passing them unlocks special scenes.
• Spending time with the main characters increases their affection. Higher affection unlocks new scenes (including animations) and advances relationship progress.
• You have 100 days to get to know your favorite characters while still keeping up with your studies to clear your finals.

Important note about the timeline (Version 0.6x):

As of version 0.6x, the story currently ends on day 80. You can, however, return back by two weeks and continue with your progress intact. As more content is added through updates, the full experience is planned to expand up to day 100 (and possibly further in later releases).

Money and bonuses: You can earn money through multiple activities to purchase stat boosters and other “spicy” extras. The game is designed to keep grinding to a minimum, so you can enjoy building connections at your own pace.

• If you ignore academics, your progress can stall and certain content may become unavailable.
• If you focus only on studying, relationship growth may slow down.

This balance mirrors real student life and adds weight to your daily decisions.

Romance, Affection, and Replay Value

Romance is built through an affection system. The more time you spend with a character, the more their affection grows—unlocking new scenes, animations, and more meaningful emotional moments.

You can concentrate on one character or pursue multiple connections, depending on your choices. The game also includes 100 in-game days of university life. In the current 0.6x build, the content reaches day 80, and you can rewind up to two weeks while keeping your progress to revisit choices without starting over. Future updates are planned to complete the full 100-day arc and expand the story further.

Side Characters and Random Events

Along with the main cast, Yuri University includes several side characters around campus. Random events add unpredictability and improve replay value, so no two playthroughs feel exactly the same.
