• Study the patterns of certain obstacles and enemies so you can avoid unpleasant surprises. If you keep hitting a wall after a log, a practiced down / up / down swipe sequence can help.
• Save your Dash Meter for when you really need it. It can help through tough sections, but losing your double multiplier can significantly hurt your score.



• When you have no rings, focus on getting some immediately. Even one ring on you can prevent death when you hit hazards like spikes or Badniks.
• Swipe down multiple times to extend the length of your Spin Dash. A longer Spin Dash lets you hit more enemies and can increase your combo score.
