Online matches use alternative victory conditions: you can win by being the first to reach 10,000 points for Glory, or by conquering all enemy capitals for Might. These flexible goals let you choose how you want to play and how you want to win.

Useful Tips

Use 9 tribes on Crazy Mode

If you’re going for a Perfection style match, consider playing with 9 tribes on Crazy Mode. This increases difficulty, but it also makes it easier to kickstart your civilization. Often, when you spawn in, you’ll be close to a few other tribes, which can mean an early resource bonus. Many players end up upgrading their base on Turn 0.

Crazy Mode also grants a 230% score bonus, which can raise your final score dramatically. With this simple approach, many players reach 25,000+ points. Since the maximum number of tribes you face is 9, you can also turn off special tribes or any tribes you don’t want to deal with.

Make sure your spawn is strong

Your starting position matters. If your spawn is poor, it becomes much harder to achieve a very high score—such as 80k.

A bad spawn often looks like this:

• You’re isolated from other tribes
• You start with few resources
• You’re surrounded by mountains (especially if you can’t climb)
