Naruto Clash of Ninja Introduction
Naruto Clash of Ninja Naruto Clash of Ninja brings fast anime action to mobile. Pick your favorite character, master combos, predict enemy moves, and win arena battles to earn exciting rewards.
Naruto Clash of Ninja

Naruto: Clash of Ninja is an action fighting game inspired by the Naruto anime. Choose from a roster of well-known anime characters and jump straight into competitive battles. With responsive on-screen controls, you can chain together powerful combos to pressure opponents, win arena fights, and collect rewarding loot.
To come out on top, you’ll need to read your opponent’s intentions and nail the timing of your technique releases. Each character comes with distinctive mechanics to learn, keeping every match fresh and engaging.
Gameplay
Movement
Use movement options to close distance, reposition, and evade when you’re not being targeted:
- Move toward your opponent to advance forward.
- Move away from your opponent to back up.
- Dash toward your opponent to close in quickly.
- Back away / backstep to create space.
- Jump and double-jump to change your height and timing.
- Sidestep to dodge sideways (use the sidestep action when you’re not under attack).

Update note: Starting with Naruto Gekitou Ninja Taisen! 4, you can sidestep even while dashing, making it a much safer evasive option.
Update note: From Naruto Shippuden: Clash of Ninja Revolution 3 onward, your character becomes temporarily invulnerable during sidestep and back-dashing.
Blocking

Blocking (often called “guarding” in the Clash of Ninja series) is simple:
- You can hold away from your opponent, or
- do nothing—don’t touch the control stick or buttons.
Important: Guarding isn’t unlimited. Every character has a limited amount of defense, shown by:
- The guard gauge, and
- The hit-spark color when blocking: blue when full, then shifting to yellow, and finally red.
When that defensive value runs out, your guard breaks (you’ll see a breaking animation and hear a “shattering” sound), leaving you temporarily defenseless.
Reversal detail: Most characters (except CS2 Sasuke) have a very short set of guard frames right as they start certain actions. If your opponent hits you during those startup frames, it still counts as a guard—allowing your character to continue the attack instead of being stopped.
This technique is commonly referred to as a reversal. If you time an away-facing block just as they strike, your opponent may assume you’re reading their mind.
Attacks and Combos
Attacking is straightforward:
- Press an attack to perform a standard strike (like a punch or kick).
- Depending on the situation, your character will use a weapon or a jutsu-style technique.
Ground attacks: When you’re on the ground, you can vary your move by entering one of 4 directions (technically 5, if counting neutral stick position as a separate choice) before pressing an attack button.
Dash attacks: You can also launch an attack while dashing by pressing an attack button during your run.
Air attacks: Air-based attacks exist as well. They don’t offer as many variations as ground options. Some characters also have aerial Secret Techniques, covered later.
Combo system: Each character comes with a set number of pre-made combos. These combos are built from:
- a directional input, and
- a sequence of button presses.
Don’t expect complicated “classic fighting game” combo memorization—new players can often land multi-hit strings almost immediately. That’s part of what makes the Clash of Ninja series so fun.
Still, if you want to improve, avoid mashing blindly. The key to keeping stronger combo strings is timing. You’ll need to learn when to delay inputs so you don’t drop the combo. Understanding your character’s attack behavior and input timing is essential. You can also use sections of preset combos to build longer, more efficient sequences—creativity matters a lot.
