Plant Girls: Insect Invasion is an adult-themed tower defense game. You recruit Plant Girls from different races to hold back waves of mechanical insects and defend your city—along with its residents. To survive, you’ll need to use resources wisely, recruit characters with different abilities, and fight across a variety of environments.

Once the insects finally breach the city, defeat cutscenes are triggered, unlocking a large set of stimulating adult scenes. The game is planned to receive ongoing updates, adding new scenes and new characters to keep the experience fresh.

• “The game starts out okay—the art and animations look nice—but the gameplay and upgrade system feel boring. Progression is level-based and it all feels repetitive. Sure, there could be new enemies with more health and damage, and maybe new girls, but if you want to see everything, you have to grind and repeat. There’s also a point where the difficulty ramps up so much that only a few strategies work. It’s basically grab someone’s save or use cheats just to enjoy it.”

• “It’s very grind-heavy, with small H cut-ins and defeat scenes. There’s a lot of content, but it still takes hours of farming. Eventually you shift into permanent unit upgrades, but the bonuses tend to favor certain unit types—like AOE and high attack-speed units—more than others because they benefit more from flat damage bonuses. That means some units can end up being poor investments and slow your progress. A mix of single-target is usually helpful for the larger units. There is some strategy, but it mostly boils down to spamming whatever you invest in…”
