While your session is running, you can also earn coins. Use them in the shop to pick up items and decorations, decorate your room, and show off your style to other users.
The app includes clear FAQs so you can quickly understand how everything works and how to get the most out of your study time.
User Reviews
“I’ve been using this app for months, and it seriously changed my routine. It’s the first time I’ve been able to sit down and actually study for hours straight—my best total so far is around three and a half hours. Because of it, I even had a real chance of passing chemistry. I’ve tried tons of other study apps, but none of them kept me going as long as this one. For me, it’s partly because the whole vibe feels like those classic old Flash games, which is super nostalgic. Earning rewards and keeping my bunny happy makes me want to stay consistent. The streak feature is also a great touch—it helps me keep going even when I don’t feel like studying, just to protect the streak.”
“I also love the music choices. There’s a good mix like lofi, piano, and white noise, and it makes focusing way easier. It’s not something most apps offer. I’ve recommended Study Bunny to all my friends, and I don’t see that changing any time soon. If anyone from Study Bunny is reading this—thank you. I genuinely don’t know if I could’ve made it through this school year without it.”
“I was hunting for productivity apps to help me learn Japanese. Most apps I tried felt like a one-and-done thing. But I really love Study Bunny—it motivates me to study every day. I like that you get a little bunny you can name and customize with purchases. That’s what makes it stand out: you’re motivated to come back and study so you can buy things for your bunny. The points system also makes purchases feel rewarding, because you have to work up enough points first.
I especially appreciate the chart. It shows how many hours you studied each day and how long each session lasted, so you can’t just guess—you can actually see your progress. I also like that you can create your own flash card sets. It’s cute, fun, and it genuinely helps me keep moving forward with my goals. Highly recommend!”
“I’m still getting an ad after the countdown finishes. I’ve never really minded ads, but this most recent one had sexual content, which was the first time it happened. I noticed an older review with three stars, and now it’s a five-star rating—so it seems like the team listens to customers. I love the updates and I’m excited to keep using the app.
One suggestion: it would be great if my iPad could stay from shutting off while the timer is running so it doesn’t drain battery. I also study with my iPad sometimes, but the timer stops when I open another app. I’d suggest those two fixes. Another concern is that the ads can be distracting and don’t really match the purpose of helping you study more. If ads are how the app is funded, maybe consider letting users earn carrots and coins based on how much they study—or offer an optional paid plan for people who don’t want to see ads. Just a few thoughts. I love the idea, and it’s fun to use, but it can be frustrating when I can’t pull up other study apps while the timer is running.”

FAQs
Does Study Bunny block other apps?
No. Study Bunny doesn’t prevent you from using your phone. Many students use their phones to support their studying. Instead, it uses a self-accountability approach. If you get distracted, the app encourages you to pause your session briefly.
The timer will keep running even if the app is in the background.
Alternatively, you can enable Honesty Mode in Settings. With Honesty Mode, you choose whether you were distracted when you return to the app. Depending on your choice, you’ll receive a “punishment” such as losing coins or watching an ad.

Please check the tutorial titled “How to use Honesty Mode.”
Is there an alarm sound?
Yes. You’ll need to turn up your phone’s Notifications volume. You may also need to increase your ringtone volume first.
The alarm sound comes from the notification sound you’ve selected in your phone’s settings. If notifications are turned off but your ringtone is set to vibrate, you’ll hear the alarm as vibration.
Android:
- Press the down volume button on the side of your phone.
- Swipe down to open the menu.
- Raise the sliders for ringtone and notifications.
iOS:
- Turn off Silent Mode.
- Increase your phone volume.
What do I do if the app crashes/doesn’t…?
