Nekopara Introduction

Nekopara Nekopara Sekai Connect is a charming role-playing adventure where you manage a confectionery shop with catgirl characters, recruit your team for battles, and uncover Cat Festival conspiracies while growing closer through dating scenes.

Nekopara

Nekopara Sekai Connect is a fan-favorite role-playing experience that brings the manga’s many catgirls into the game world. The character artwork is drawn by the original creator, giving players an experience that feels authentic and true to the series. Each catgirl comes with her own personality and personal storyline.

Run your confectionery shop with them, then get pulled into the chaos surrounding the Cat Festival invitation, where events and hidden plots begin to unfold. Build your roster, pick the right catgirls for your team, and fight your way through battles to secure wins and earn rewards. Thanks to a semi-automated battle system, victories come more easily while you slowly uncover the mysteries behind the world. As you progress, bonds deepen and you’ll unlock more dating-style scenes.

Characters of Nekopara

Kashou Minaduki (水無月 嘉祥, Minazuki Kashou)

Nekopara

Kashou is the protagonist featured in most visual novel entries of the series. From a family with a long tradition of chefs, he chooses to leave home and open his own pâtisserie, even though his parents had different plans. Later revelations show that Kashou studied abroad in France, where he learned Western-style techniques and devoted his baking talent to that direction. He names his shop La Soleil, honoring his mentor’s own pastry business.

Shigure Minaduki (水無月 時雨, Minazuki Shigure)

Nekopara

Shigure is Kashou’s younger sister. She seems to hold romantic feelings for Kashou in a way that’s described as incestuous. Together with her older brother, she manages the Minaduki family’s catgirls.

Nekopara

Chocola (ショコラ, Shokora)

Chocola is a lively brown-haired catgirl with a bright, upbeat personality. She’s often described as carefree and always talks about herself in the third person. As Vanilla’s twin sister, she moves in with Kashou after he starts his own business.

Vanilla (バニラ, Banira)

Vanilla is a quiet, steady white-haired catgirl who rarely shows her feelings. Because of that, she fits the “cool/quiet” kind of character type often called kuudere. She cares deeply about her twin sister Chocola and frequently stays close wherever Chocola goes. Across most of the series, Vanilla and Chocola are the youngest catgirls in the Minaduki household.

Coconut (ココナツ, Kokonatsu)

Coconut is the third youngest catgirl in the Minaduki family. Other characters frequently call her “cool,” but she secretly wishes she were cuter instead. Her low self-esteem comes from her clumsiness and how she jokingly claims she lacks talent. She also tries to do more than she can—both to seem like an older sister and to avoid feeling like a burden to Kashou and the other catgirls.

Nekopara

Visually, Coconut has heterochromia: her right eye is yellow and her left eye is blue. She’s also a Maine Coon, which makes her look older than her age (and even her personality) would suggest.

Useful Tips for Nekopara

  • Start by pushing the main story:

Early on, your best move is to focus on progressing through the main story. Doing so unlocks new content and gradually introduces you to the game’s systems. In other words, the story works as both a guide and a fun introduction to the world.

As you advance, you’ll recruit more Nekos, gain access to additional game modes, and earn important rewards. Many of these rewards include upgrade materials, which are essential for strengthening your team—so clear the main story first, then explore other features once they open up.

  • Build a team with a good balance:

Even though combat is semi-automatic, cafe battles can still feel tough if your lineup isn’t well put together. Many beginners make the mistake of tossing random characters into a team, assuming it will help them clear content faster—but that often makes things harder in the long run.

Instead, choose characters thoughtfully so your team covers what the fight needs.
