Five Nights at Freddy’s 4 Screenshots
Five Nights at Freddy’s 4 Introduction
Five Nights at Freddy’s 4 Five Nights at Freddy’s 4 challenges you to protect a child from terrifying animatronic monsters in the dark. No cameras—move between doors, listen for danger, and use your flashlight to survive the night.
Five Nights at Freddy’s 4
Five Nights at Freddy’s 4 is the last chapter in the horror series. You take control of a young man exploring a frightening location at night, with one main job: keep the children safe from monsters.
Familiar threats return from earlier games, including Chica, Bonnie, Foxy, and more. Because these creatures can be near without being visible, you’ll need to pay close attention to the audio—for example, you may hear a monster breathing if it’s close. Can you survive the dark room filled with relentless monsters?
Gameplay
This time, you’re not patrolling with security cameras. Instead, you’ll control the young man directly, defending yourself from terrifying figures that hide in shadows and corners as the night progresses.
In terms of core gameplay, it stays true to what fans expect from the series. You can move between the bed and the doors, then press a button to open a door. You can also use a flashlight to briefly light up areas when you need to check what’s nearby.
Features
- Unique gameplay and storyline
- A simple, easy-to-learn structure
- New scares and a tense atmosphere
- Multiple electronic dolls prepared to attack
- Flashlight for short-term area illumination
- Various demon-like creatures with different sizes and behaviors

Unique gameplay and storyline
The final chapter of Five Nights at Freddy’s 4 uses a straightforward setup: you’re trapped in a room and must reach the next safe location. Your goal is simple to state—protect the child—but doing it in complete darkness is anything but easy.
Multiple electronic dolls are ready to attack
Once again, you’ll face the famous electronic dolls from Freddy’s Pizza, including Chica, Bonnie, Foxy, and others. Be ready: this time they move around the house and hide in the dark, sending chills as they hunt for you.
Flashlight
Playing as a child in Five Nights at Freddy’s 4, especially when visibility is nearly zero, is guaranteed to be terrifying. A key tool is the flashlight, which can help drive monsters away. However, the power is limited, so you must use it carefully until late game.
Various Demons
In FNAF4, you’ll be surrounded by demon-like enemies with animal-like textures, sharp teeth, and claws. Keep in mind that each monster has a different size, and they’ll be eager to attack the moment they spot you. Stay calm—your best chance is staying focused on survival.

Review
Scott, your Five Nights at Freddy’s series is one of my favorite games. I’ll admit I was genuinely emotional when I heard the series was ending—more than once. These games are worth it from start to finish.
That said, I’m a bit disappointed with this app because I didn’t get to experience the story mini-games featuring crying children that are present in the PC version. Hopefully those will be added later.
Also, while running around, I kept hearing a chain of footsteps that sounded a little like my own, but faster—moving left to right. Those sounds were distracting when I was trying to focus on other things. I’m not sure what causes it: could be a bug, or maybe something like Foxy. If it’s a bug, I hope it gets fixed. If not, I guess I’ll have to figure it out.
Aside from those two small problems, the game is incredible—terrifyingly scary—exactly the kind of horror I love. I’d recommend it to anyone who enjoys horror games. :) Scott, keep it up—you’re amazing.
How to Play (Key Nightmare Encounters)
Five Nights at Freddy’s 4 blends mini-games, survival challenges, and lots of jump scares. You’ll need to learn patterns to avoid getting frightened—especially by the little Freddys. Make sure your device volume is turned up so you can hear them.
- Nightmare Freddy: When the little Freddys appear on the bed, shine the flashlight on them to send them away.
- Bonnie the Nightmare: He shows up near the left-hand door and breathes softly, which makes him harder to notice. Close the door right away when he appears—if you don’t, he may suddenly jump out and scare you.
- Chica the Nightmare: Uses the same general approach as Bonnie, but her breathing is heavier, so she’s easier to hear. If you don’t check the door, she may also drop her cupcakes in the room.
- Foxy the Nightmare: He appears in the hallway, then heads into the closet. He starts out as a plush toy, then turns into a head, and finally peeks out from the closet. Use the flashlight to calm him down.
- Plush Trap: You have 120 seconds to catch him. He enters the room, and if you catch him perfectly on the “X” mark, you can finish the game 2 hours early. Miss the timing and you’ll be startled.
- Freddy the Nightmare: He’s the final boss and can appear from multiple places (including the left door, right door, closet, and bed). If he arrives from a door, he may do so suddenly—stay alert.
