Background

Set in a bleak world, the story begins after a catastrophic event pulls the sun down into the sea. With the sun gone, the sunless continent is suddenly wrapped in black mist. Locals have fallen into madness, but the cause is unknown.

Your mission: uncover the truth behind the disaster and protect humanity. Along the way, you’ll face constant threats, encounter strange monsters, and push deeper into the mystery one danger at a time.

At the center of Pascal’s Wager is Terence, a messenger trying to survive in a dark world. Thousands of years have passed since the sun sank into the ocean, and the entire planet is trapped in an endless, thick fog of darkness.

For years, humanity’s last hope was a Colossus hero—someone who could reveal the darkness and lead people out of the abyss.

But in a massive operation, the Colossus crashed and vanished. No one knew where the hero had gone. Humanity was crushed by grief and seemed to lose all hope.

That’s when Terence is given a critical assignment: find the Colossus’s wife, believed to have some form of spiritual connection to it. Ultimately, the goal is to discover a way to resurrect the Colossus and continue the journey to save the Earth.

While working toward that aim—and trying to stop whatever stands against it—Terence encounters countless monsters, strange allies, and deadly traps. This is how you step into the intricate, punishing world of Pascal’s Wager.
