Features of Ninja Arashi 2

A darker rescue story with clear momentum

You return as Arashi, a former legendary ninja on a desperate attempt to pull his son out of the clutches of the shadow demon Dosu. The sequel picks up immediately after the previous title: Arashi gets trapped in a prison and must cut a bloody route through waves of enemies to break free.
The campaign unfolds in a large story mode spanning 80 stages, split into four acts. Each act pushes the plot forward, while traps, enemy placements, and boss encounters build a strong sense of progression—along with rapidly increasing danger.
Challenging platforming and sharp combat
Ninja Arashi 2 keeps the same tight, precision-based platforming style as the original. You’ll need good timing for jumps, quick reactions to avoid deadly traps, and the discipline to use your abilities at the moment they matter most. The difficulty starts reasonable, then escalates fast—especially in the later acts where hazards and enemy patterns hit much harder.
Combat mixes fast strikes with evasive movement. Alongside the familiar moves, the game adds new melee weapons you can unlock and equip. Each weapon encourages a slightly different playstyle, whether you prefer quick attacks, heavier hits, or options that match your preferred rhythm. Boss battles are the peak of the action, demanding both platforming accuracy and aggressive offense.
Deeper RPG systems and customization
Compared to the first game, Ninja Arashi 2 shifts further toward RPG-style progression. A new skill tree lets you shape Arashi’s abilities as you progress through the 80 stages, giving you more control over how he grows.
On top of that, there’s an artifact system that expands customization. By equipping different artifacts, you can enhance your strengths and adjust your build to handle specific threats—or match the way you like to play. With these systems, repeated attempts on tough stages feel less repetitive because you can adjust your setup instead of relying only on reflexes.
Strategies of Ninja Arashi 2
- Kanashi throws multiple swords at you—dodge them and avoid getting too close to the sword-master.
- Keep your distance and throw shurikens continuously. Make sure you’re using fully upgraded shurikens.
- When Kanashi slowly approaches and enters your screen area, jump/dodge over his head, then quickly move to the other side. While in the air, use dash to cover distance and set up your landing. Repeat this rhythm.
- Don’t stress—having at least 6 rebirths gives you room to recover. Use your shielded disguise to nullify his sword throws.
- His attacks are quick and agile, but his arrows aren’t as fast. Staying away and continuing shuriken throws is usually the safer approach.
- He can fire horizontal and vertical arrows. The vertical arrows lead into arrow showers, which you can dodge easily if you stay alert.
- Occasionally, you can counter with melee sword attacks, but be careful—he also uses acid-bombs. You can dodge acid bombs while disguised. Sometimes he may also use his bow as a shield.
- If you already obtained a Meiyo artifact, it can shield your disguise and make it much easier to beat Yasha up close, since Yasha is vulnerable to melee attacks.

Player Comments of Ninja Arashi 2
- If you played the first game, this one feels like an upgrade: it has its own stages while also continuing the storyline. It’s a great platformer with precise controls and excellent level design—like teaching you traps in safe environments first. The main downsides mentioned are ads (you can reportedly turn them off by disabling Wi‑Fi) and some light pay-to-win purchases.
- Absolutely love it—really fun. One reported bug: after using the fan to float, Arashi may still carry the fan while moving/jumping until he uses disguise again. Skill prices were also criticized as not matching the money earned, but the reviewer says it was still easy to buy all skills and had plenty extra.
- “Keep up the great work”—fans are looking forward to the remaining acts.
