Useful Tips for Real Cricket 20
- Lofted shots aren’t as forgiving: This game is considered one of the toughest formats for batting because lofted shots are easier against AI. To succeed, learn how to leave deliveries effectively.
- Read the pitch: If the wicket shows a green tint, it plays like a fast-bowler’s paradise. If the bowler seems to swing the ball away from you, start by aligning your bat with the ball’s line.
- Use the Leave button at the right time: Once the bowler releases, tap Leave and let the ball go gently. Avoid going after out-swingers early in the innings.
- Ball wear helps: When the Red Ball/Pink Ball gets older, hitting becomes noticeably easier.
- Handling in-swing: In-swingers are harder because timing your defense matters—otherwise your stumps can be knocked over or the ball can clip right near your pads. Bring your bat down quickly as the delivery is released.
- Confidence meter matters: Batsmen have a confidence meter that grows with each delivery faced. When it turns green, timing and shot-making become much easier due to increased momentum. Don’t try flashy shots before the meter builds—however, keep an eye on loose deliveries too.
- When the ball is pitched up: If it’s coming fuller, play it off the back foot.
- Use joystick placement wisely: Point the joystick toward the ball in the cover region or in the empty third-man area.
- Hard surfaces: Expect early bounce and seam movement when the pitch is hard.
