Game Highlights
Pick from an enormous roster
You’ll have access to a very large selection of teams, including roughly 60 national teams and around 60 clubs. Your starting squad can include about 2,000 different players. At first, the sheer variety can feel overwhelming—but it also means you can tailor your lineup to the opponent and experiment until you find a setup that fits your style.
Four ways to play

Choose a mode based on how much time you want to spend. Exhibition Matches are ideal for quick sessions, while Cup and full-season League modes demand more commitment. Long league runs can take significant time and may not suit short breaks.
In Cup Tournaments, the intensity is higher than in casual friendly matches. The good news is that you can rely on Training to practice your controls without a countdown timer. Training for too long can start to feel repetitive, but it’s useful before you step into competitive play.
Simple on-field controls
- Movement uses a virtual joystick on one side of the screen.
- A set of action buttons on the other side handles key actions like passing and shooting.
- The control layout is beginner-friendly, though it may take a few matches to fully get the timing and responsiveness down.

For smarter attacks, keep an eye on the minimap while creating chances. Knowing where everyone is positioned helps you dribble through pressure and find passing lanes. Perfecting the finer timing of passes will take some practice.

Useful Tips for World Soccer League

Choose the right formation
To win, your formation needs to match your preferred playstyle and—most importantly—the strengths of your squad. Two strong options are the 4-4-2 B and 4-4-3 B.
- 4-4-2 B: One of the four midfielders plays an Attacking Mid role to support the two strikers. The remaining midfielders can also join the attack, allowing up to six players to contribute offensively. Long passes can be especially dangerous in this setup.
- 4-4-3 B: Three midfielders hold a triangle shape, with one striker and two wingers. This formation is built for wing play, and many goals come through the wide areas—making it one of the most successful approaches.
Use substitutions during the match
Players lose stamina as the game goes on. In knockout stages, relying on the same starting lineup for the entire run won’t work well. Plan substitutions to keep your team effective when the pressure rises.
