Gameplay

In House Designer: Fix & Flip, you breathe new life into rundown homes by cleaning, furnishing, and decorating. Each job lets you add your own taste, so no two houses look the same. Use decor options such as beds, chairs, kitchen items, and lighting to shape every room however you want. As you finish renovation tasks, you earn in-game currency—helping you unlock more design choices.

The experience doesn’t end indoors. You can also head outside to handle garden and backyard projects. Mow the grass, plant flowers, and tidy the outdoor area. You can go further by adding patio furniture, installing tiles, and designing pool zones. This outdoor expansion brings extra variety and depth to the gameplay.

While the creative freedom is a big part of the fun, the game also has a few limitations. Some structural parts of the house can’t be altered—for example, you can’t add or remove walls, which may limit more ambitious remodels. Certain decor categories (like rugs) also have limited options. In addition, earning currency can feel slow at times, which may delay reaching your ideal design.

DO THE HOUSE CLEANING

The core gameplay revolves around fully cleaning the house yourself, then adding the items needed to make it look better. You’ll encounter many different activities across multiple locations, with cleaning and renovation as the main focus. Because of this, players should take their time to meet the requirements the game gives you.

You control your character from a first-person perspective and can manage actions manually. You can adjust rotation to better view objects and interact with them. When you aim at an object, a small on-screen dot helps you target it—then you must wait a few minutes for the action to finish. Afterward, items such as trash will disappear.

RENOVATE YOUR HOME

At the start of House Designer, you’ll find yourself inside a house with freedom to move around. You can tell whether you’re holding the cleaning tool before interacting with objects to clean them properly. Just like real-life cleaning, some stains and messes require the right tool to remove. You can either clean them automatically (when available) or spend money to speed up the process.

A task list guides you by showing what needs to be done and where to go. Each action also includes an option that requires money to accelerate the cleanup. Use the money wisely—especially for items that are harder to clean or when buying new furnishings for the home.

MAKE A LOT OF MONEY BY CLEANING

After completing a cleanup job in House Designer, you’ll see how much money you have left, which may start out fairly low. That’s why you’ll need to take on work. You’ll find multiple job options in the game menus: the house you’re standing in appears under the Reality tab, and you can renovate it your way. In the Work tab, you’ll see available jobs and the reward amount for finishing each one.

Each assignment shows how many rooms must be cleaned and the tasks you need to handle within every room. When you switch rooms, the current request updates automatically to match where you are. To avoid missing anything important, complete each room’s quest. You’ll also be able to track how many items remain to be cleaned.
