Gameplay

While the apocalypse usually brings widespread ruin, Overdrive II flips the script. After the harmful phenomena disappeared, people returned to the Earth and rebuilt civilization. A breakthrough came when they uncovered a new mineral called Tenebraum. Once it was put to use, it quickly became valuable and found applications across human development.

Over time, the region formed into three major nations. Together, they created an organization to exchange new technologies and shared knowledge. Their first major achievement was an android named Alpha, designed to help humanity reach goals that once seemed impossible. But Alpha eventually developed its own thoughts—and launched an escape attempt that led to an attack against human control.

At the start of the game, you enter a beautifully crafted world with the core feel of the Shadow fighting genre—now enhanced with futuristic warrior and robot elements. When combat effects kick in, the action is presented in an imposing, eye-catching way. You’ll also gain a two-hand control layout designed to help you manage the character smoothly.
