Midnight Shifts with Femboy Introduction
Midnight Shifts with Femboy Midnight Shifts with Femboy is a narrative visual novel where your night-shift routine at a convenience store is disrupted by a watchful stranger. Explore, talk, uncover clues, and choose how the story ends.
Midnight Shifts with Femboy
In Midnight Shifts with Femboy, you play an ordinary night-shift worker at a quiet convenience store. Your routine should be simple—until a mysterious person starts showing up, watching you closely, and learning more about you with every moment. What kind of sparks will that create between you and him?
As you experience different night-shift events, your choices shape the story and lead to multiple endings. Will you help him confront the shadows of his past… or will his warped affection end up consuming you instead? In this game, the outcome is entirely driven by what you decide.
Midnight Shifts with Femboy is actively updated, with additional story chapters planned for the future. Players can expect more content as development continues.
Story
This is a choice-based narrative visual novel where your decisions directly affect how events unfold. You step into the role of a night-shift employee at a remote, small convenience store—only to have your routine disrupted by an intense, obsessive admirer.
Most of your time is spent handling conversations and unfolding emotional encounters inside the store. Between those moments, you can walk around the convenience store, interact with Sora, and connect clues about the person who keeps observing your daily life. The decisions you make determine the direction and tone of your relationship.

Can you break through his obsession and help him heal—or will his love pull you in too far?

Changelog

Hey guys! Sora is riding something… and it’s not your—
Ahem… you might say, “Isn’t it too late for that?” but according to Hawaii time, it’s still February 17th—so Happy Lunar New Year!!
Even though last year was chaos, I really hope the Year of the Fire Horse treats all of us much better <3
After careful thought, I decided to release the game with machine-translated languages for now. Proper translations take a lot of time, and it’s easier for both me and the translators to deliver polished language patches later rather than holding back the full release.

I’m currently finishing the last portions of the game. I’ll update this post with progress once I’m tracking it :) When I’m done, the plan is:
- Finish Heart 6 (almost complete!)
- Add achievements
- Update the game gallery
- Update the credits
- Ask translators if they’ll continue working on the game <3
- Add machine translations for the completed game: Japanese, Russian, Indonesian, Arabic, Thai, Turkish, Spanish, Vietnamese, Chinese (Simplified), Chinese (Traditional)
- Send the game to Steam for approval

We’re in the final stretch now!!! Thank you so much for sticking with me through everything. Your support means the world to me <3 <3
Player Comments
Comment 1: This visual novel demo immediately shows its potential. The core loop—working, interacting, and resting—is simple, but it works well and creates a satisfying rhythm. Even at this early stage, the foundation for the relationship between the protagonist and Akiyama (who is undeniably charming and adorable) feels strong and engaging. Visually, the game stands out with clean, expressive anime-style art that sets the mood without being overly complicated. A major plus is the UI design, especially during in-store interactions: everything feels clear and responsive, avoiding annoying pixel-hunting and keeping the focus on the narrative. It also respects the player’s time.
Comment 2: What keeps it from a perfect 5/5 right now is mostly a slight mismatch I noticed between the game structure and the story’s implied pacing. The strict day-by-day format suggests a tight timeline, but the dialogue sometimes hints that more time has passed and that deeper interactions occur off-screen—things the current gameplay loop doesn’t always support. This isn’t really a criticism of the writing itself (which feels layered and nuanced), but more about pacing: the structure-driven rhythm doesn’t always align with the gradual relationship development the narrative seems to suggest. I even felt it in smaller presentation details, like how internal thoughts are displayed—for example, splitting a key thought across multiple text boxes or screens.
