City of Sin - The Nocturne Files Introduction

City of Sin - The Nocturne Files Enter City of Sin: The Nocturne Files as investigator Kate Adler. Follow clues through neon penthouses and sewers, uncover fraud and disappearances, and make choices that reshape the conspiracy.

City of Sin – The Nocturne Files

City of Sin – The Nocturne Files is a story-focused adult casual game. You step into the role of an investigator pulled into the city’s darkest conspiracies, where deception isn’t just common—it’s the rule.

You’ll be sent into the mysterious Nocturne Club to investigate two brutal threads: missing girls and identity fraud. As you move through the club and its connected events, you’ll meet a wide cast of characters and make decisions that shape how the story unfolds.

But the investigation may come with a twist—because you might not be the one doing the hunting. At some point, you could become the target.

What choices will you make?

The game is continuously updated, with new characters, fresh story events, and additional adult scenes added on a regular basis to keep players expecting what comes next.

Story

In a city where influence is traded through secrets, Kate Adler doesn’t need to be taught how deception works.

Kate is a sharp, quick-thinking investigator—skilled at reading people and surviving their lies. When she receives a rare lead, it begins with an invitation to Nocturne, the secretive club where the powerful remove their masks and leave morality behind.

However, Nocturne isn’t the whole story. What begins as a simple surveillance assignment quickly turns into something far more dangerous: a conspiracy that grows wider with each clue. You’ll uncover missing girls, false identities, and evidence that the city itself is held together by corruption.

From neon-lit penthouses down to sewer tunnels, Kate has to piece together what’s happening—layer by layer—until every answer creates a new risk.

Every lead is a decision.
Every truth is a gamble.

And the deeper Kate digs, the clearer it becomes: she may not be the hunter after all.

Player Comments

City of Sin - The Nocturne Files

“From a very open-minded perspective, I read other reviews before writing mine. First off, this is a huge leap from the original demo. Unlike a lot of games with a male main character that certain ‘fans’ want to survive on… this actually feels focused on plot and immersion.”

“The biggest positive I noticed is something many games miss right at the start: image and replay galleries. Also, it avoids the damn sandbox—something that’s been overdone. This one gives clear options, and the achievements come along with the experience.”

“Major kudos for the rendering progression from the earlier Jessica work to the current game. That growth is on full display.”

“I don’t want to sound overly optimistic since it’s still early, but I wanted to leave an encouraging review because, in my opinion, this is a massive improvement over the Jessica games.”

“What bothered me in the Jessica games was that they didn’t really feel like games to me—more like a ‘pick your kink and pick an option’ slideshow. This is different.”

“You still have different paths with different kinks, but they’re less excessive and the routes feel deeper as a result. Jessica was wide like an ocean and shallow like a puddle—this is a lot more coherent, and therefore more engaging.”

“I’m really looking forward to playing more.”

5/5 Stars – “Holy crap, this is an amazing start! Playing it brought me back to when I first found DoAdventures stories on CHYOA—those Jessica-style branching paths, hot scenarios, and the addictive ‘what if’ feeling.”

“This has huge potential to become one of my favorites ever. For a v0.1, it already has far more content than many full games I’ve played recently. I feel like I’ve been on here for hours and I don’t feel close to the end.”

“Please continue this story. Please give us the next episode soon.”
