Your job is to build and defend your shelter, gather crafting materials, and upgrade your gear. Use what you find to create stronger weapons and protective defenses, then hold out against relentless monster attacks while you work to protect humanity’s last hope.

The game includes multiple ways to play, such as boss arenas, teaming up with friends to take on powerful enemies, and worldwide leaderboard competition to see how you stack up against other survivors.

Gameplay Overview (Tutorial Zone)

Once you take control of your character, the game begins in the Tutorial Zone. Progress is guided by a sequence of quests and instructions designed to teach you how the basics work.

Quest 1: Clear the Bushes

• Tap the objective marker to move the camera toward where you need to go.
• To leave the initial crash area, Bluey must break through bushes blocking her path.



• You’ll also learn that you can locate objectives by tapping the objective box.

Quest 2: Upgrade Your Breaker Tool to Level 2

• This quest introduces tool upgrades in the tutorial.
• By clearing the way, you earn your first resource: Branches.



• With the path open, head to a Tool Upgrade Station to raise your Breaker Tool to level 2.
• Upgrading lets you break more objects, deal more damage, and unlock access to additional materials—like Wood.

Quest 3: Destroy the Gate

• The gate blocks your progress until you break it.
• With Breaker Tool level 2, you’ll gather new materials such as Plastic.



• After collecting enough resources, you can upgrade again several times.
• The key progression goal is simple: get a better breaker tool so you can move farther and faster.
• At Tool level 3, you can destroy the gate and finally access more of the map.
• Around this stage, you unlock inventory and stats (stats become more important in later quests).
• Breaking the gate also rewards Metal and Wooden Planks.

Quest 4: Pick Up the Gun

• This is your first weapon for defending yourself against zombies.
• After clearing the gate, you find a Common Level 1 Glock on the ground.
• As soon as you pick it up, a zombie emerges from a crate—showing that enemies can hide inside objects.
• Even with a basic firearm, you can three-shot the zombies in the Tutorial Zone, so you should be safe unless you rush carelessly or get distracted.

Quest 5: Inspect the Truck

• This quest provides the tutorial’s next clear goal: the Escape Truck that can take you out.
• The truck is broken, and you’ll need materials to repair it.
• Along the way, you’ll find your first Fabric.
• You also unlock important game systems from here forward: the Shop, daily and weekly rewards, and the Survivor Pass.

Note: Paying real money can provide advantages over players who don’t spend. However, the game is still fully playable as free-to-play—you can access everything, it just may take longer. Since this is primarily a single-player experience, you’re not directly “outclassed” by another spender in real time; it mainly comes down to how much time you put in.
