Mutation! Introduction
Mutation! Play Mutation! as Myute, an anime RPG heroine navigating a combat-heavy labyrinth. Defeat enemies, trigger Mutation Roulette with MP-draining attacks, and adapt to a dungeon that changes with your failures.
Mutation!
Mutation! is an anime-style role-playing game with bright, cartoonish visuals. The focus stays firmly on combat, while each area is built to feel like a living, changing environment.
You play as Myute, a magical girl forced to push through a labyrinth saturated with corrupting power tied to lust. As you advance, the number and variety of enemies grows—many of them use binding and MP-draining attacks. If you get drained too far, you’ll be stopped from moving forward.
Combat also includes binding and seductive scenes that unlock gradually as the story progresses.
Gameplay Areas
Forest Area
- Plant-type monsters join the usual slimes—watch out for vine enemies.
- If you let your guard down, you won’t just take damage—you’ll be defeated.
Cave Area
- Step into a damp cave filled with slime-heavy encounters.
- You may face jellyfish-like monsters, tentacles, and worms.
Mansion Area
- A distinctive mansion zone packed with mechanical monsters.
- Some foes use brainwashing attacks, so approach carefully.

??? Area
- A frightening region sealed by flesh-like walls.
- Powerful enemies could be waiting just beyond the next turn.
Key Features
Corruption Catalysts
- When enemies drain your MP, it can trigger “Mutation Roulette”.
- Mutation results may grant combat advantages—for example, acidic sweat that melts armor.
- Other outcomes can expose weaknesses, such as hypersensitive skin that increases pleasure-related damage.
- Keep stacking mutations to unlock hybrid forms, but don’t overdo it—too much corruption can cost Myute her humanity, turning the fight into a battle against herself.

Eco-System Shame
- The dungeon reacts to your losses during H-scenes.
- If you repeatedly fall to slimes, later floors may become coated in arousal-inducing mucus.
- Use mana bursts to purify areas.
- Note: purifying also resets loot tables and erases mutation progress.

Symbiotic Surrender
- You can intentionally fail certain binds to infiltrate enemy ranks.
- Let a tentacle boss capture Myute to access secret brood chambers.
- Inside, stolen MP can be siphoned back—provided you escape before permanent egg-binding.
Bio-Feedback Tease System
- Enemies respond to Myute’s current mutation state.
- Armored knights may target crystalline growths on your skin.
- Succubi may avoid zones where you’ve been dulled by overstimulation.
- Use these AI tendencies to bait traps or even cause enemy conflict.

Hive-Mind Bargaining
- Negotiate with the dungeon consciousness using risqué mini-games.
- The dungeon can “sample” mutations to grant temporary buffs.
- For example, offering a venomous breast spike might grant poison immunity, but it can also block access to healing items.
Sanity Echoes
- As Myute’s sanity declines, phantom H-scenes appear from alternate timelines.
- Failing QTEs can reveal future mutations or enemy weak points.
- However, you risk gaining permanent phobia debuffs.
Tips & Tricks
- Overcharge Mutation Roulette: Trigger MP drains during enemy attacks that are clearly telegraphed, so you can force more useful mutations. For instance, a golem’s seismic stomp during drain might create seismic-resistant scales instead of an unwanted mutation.
- Farm Shame Zones: In early areas, intentionally lose to slimes to coat future arenas in their mucus. This slows humanoid enemies but strengthens oozes. Balance this by luring fire mages to evaporate residues.
- Exploit Brood Infiltration: Allow tentacle bosses to capture you 3 times to unlock the “Queen Mimic” disguise. Then infiltrate their ranks to sabotage spawners from within—just make sure to leave before your mutation timer runs out. Or stay too long and you may become a dungeon-ending superboss.
Story Conclusion
In Mutation!, magical warrior Myute doesn’t simply fight through a dungeon—she becomes part of it. When a spell backfires, her mana core merges with the labyrinth’s ley lines, turning every corridor into a grotesque extension of her own body. Defeating perverse mimics and tentacled architects isn’t only about survival—it’s also about reclaiming fragments of Myute’s shattered soul.
