Story
UC8 (a debut AVN from Dark Griffin Games) follows a recently divorced man who takes a transfer to get away from his ex-wife. He ends up running a theater connected to a thirty-screen University Cinema, and he’s assigned to manage the busiest 8-screen location in the small college town of Renwick.
During this transition, he learns that his high school sweetheart passed away about a year earlier—and that he is the father of her oldest child. When he eventually finds Kayla, his daughter, living in a motel while struggling to raise her younger half-sister, he invites them both to move in with him in Renwick so she can attend the local university.

Now the story asks: can the main character build a healthy relationship with his long-lost daughter? Will he actually enjoy life in Renwick? Will the theater staff accept him, or will he have to rebuild everything from scratch? And what goes on behind closed doors at the cinema? Also—what will happen to UC8 itself?
University Cinemas, “the most fun you can have in a dark, public room” (as long as you don’t get caught).

Manage the Theater Strategically
Keep tabs on the cinema’s performance: ticket sales, customer satisfaction, and staff efficiency. Spend resources wisely, upgrade facilities when needed, and plan exciting screenings to draw in more visitors.

Player Feedback
“Okay, quick note: yes—the character models can look pretty rough. Some are especially unflattering, and I haven’t seen what I’d call a great set of character body assets. Still, I’d argue that doesn’t matter much here. The romance doesn’t feel like the main point to me, because the story itself is genuinely good.”
“There are a lot of potential love interests, and you could probably pursue multiple paths if you wanted. I’ve personally focused on just one character (Tink), and I haven’t felt the need to explore others. I’m mainly here for the narrative.”
“The characters feel compelling. Not every single one is perfectly defined—some are used as comedic tropes or a more archetypal ‘villain’ role to push the plot—but the core cast still feels real, including their trauma and personal baggage. There are meaningful messages in the text, and while the main character can slip into familiar wish-fulfillment traps (like ‘Chad’ style situations), I’ve still stayed interested in what’s happening.”

“I also just saw a strong scene involving a daughter and a memory of her mom—how she uses it to find her faith. It’s… something else.”
