How to Use

1. Find the online video you want to download and open it in your internet browser.
2. If you’re using a YouTube app, locate the share or link option and copy the video’s URL. You don’t need to play the video—only the video URL (video link) is required.
3. Where to get the video link:
   • In a browser, the link is usually shown in the address bar.
   • Desktop: Press F6 to jump to the address bar, then CTRL+A to select all, and CTRL+C to copy.
   • Mobile apps (YouTube/Facebook): Tap Share, then choose Copy to Clipboard (or a similar option).

   



4. Open KeepVid.
5. Paste the URL into the box:
   • Desktop: Right-click inside the box and select Paste.
   • Desktop (alternative): Click into the box, then press CTRL+A and paste.
   • Mobile: Tap and hold the box until the paste menu appears, then select Paste (or the paste icon). If you see only icons, choose the one that pastes from clipboard.
6. Tap the blue Download button to start.
7. After the page refreshes, you’ll see a preview screenshot and the video title—confirm it’s the correct video before downloading.
8. Choose download options:
   • When you’re sure, press the red button Download HD Video.
   • If you want a different format, tap the options button next to download to expand more audio/video choices.



9. Make sure the download saves correctly: Right-click the download link and select Save As (on mobile: tap and hold the link, then select Save Link As).

If you’re only downloading YouTube, KeepVid may also show YouTube to MP3 converter buttons. For other MP3 conversion needs, you may need to use additional external options and services (such as a Twitter video downloader or Twitch clip downloader).
