gCMOB Introduction

gCMOB gCMOB lets you monitor your cameras in real time with flexible preview splitting, instant InstaOn cloud viewing, and 4-channel playback. It also supports two-way microphone communication, PTZ control, and push notifications.

gCMOB

gCMOB is a surveillance companion app that lets you watch what you set up for monitoring in real time. With flexible live-preview splitting, you can display multiple locations at once, making it easier to keep an eye on everything. Along with live viewing, the app includes playback support, including 4-channel playback, and you can save recorded clips locally for quick sharing. It also supports two-way microphone communication, so you can talk remotely with family, friends, or even pets.

How to Use

To link your surveillance camera with gCMOB, scan the QR code on the camera packaging or directly on the camera. If your camera doesn’t include a QR code, you can enter the camera code manually. This code is called InstaON, and it’s typically printed on the side or back of the device.

User Reviews

I’ve tried other monitoring apps, but GCmob really stands out for its ease of use and useful functionality. The real-time notifications and reliable streaming make it easier to stay confident while monitoring my home security anytime. The app layout feels clean and straightforward, so it’s also easy for non-technical users—like my parents. Being able to control multiple cameras remotely is a great bonus, and that’s why I prefer GCmob for home security.

This app is excellent, but I think it could be even more practical with one added option. I’ve set up eight cameras and I want to share access with other people, but only for of them—not all eight. At the moment, there isn’t a way to grant access to only selected cameras. Maybe you could add password protection per channel. Please consider this idea if possible.

Conclusion

Overall, if you use security cameras at home or at a business, gCMOB is a helpful monitoring app. You can check your property security anytime and anywhere using your phone. That said, mobile viewing does have its limits, so if you want a better experience, it’s recommended to try the app through an emulator.
