Useful Tips for My Cruise

• Consider using premium solicitations. You can watch up to 5 videos to get back 10 diamonds, so the benefit can be stronger than simply placing an ad elsewhere—especially for better passenger outcomes.
• Save enough money to hire staff immediately right before you build a new location. Hiring costs vary slightly, but staff typically cost around 1/6 of the location’s build price.
• Fully upgrading a cashier removes the money-collection limit.



• Don’t worry if you can’t finish an event. Events repeat, and you can keep collecting shards. After you collect enough shards for a character, the event will reward you with universal shards, which can be used to unlock any character.
• Port investment: you don’t need to fully max every port. Once a new port is unlocked, the previous one becomes less worthwhile for investing, since each new port generally offers a better deal. There’s usually no reason to return.
• Finding items: items are hidden in a limited number of spots. When you discover one, note the exact location—those items tend to appear there again later. Check around the edges and decorations.
