Eventually, tapping routes won’t generate enough profit. When that happens, offline earnings become your main income source. By default, your airport starts with one fuel tank (required to keep the system active when you’re not playing). You can build one more tank for 10,000 cash.

The second tank increases offline earnings because it will be used to power flights while you’re away.
