Sky Force Reloaded Introduction
Sky Force Reloaded Pilot your fighter jet in Sky Force Reloaded, a thrilling top-down shoot ’em up. Dodge relentless enemy fire, destroy planes and bosses, choose Normal to Nightmare, and unlock aircraft, rewards, and upgrades.
Sky Force Reloaded
Sky Force Reloaded is an action shooter where you pilot a fighter jet through intense aerial combat. While you dodge enemy fire, keep moving forward, destroy enemy planes, and take down bosses to clear each stage’s objectives. The game includes difficulty settings from Normal to Nightmare, designed to test your reflexes and push the challenge higher.
You’ll be able to unlock nine aircraft types as you play. Progress also brings reward cards that permanently boost your fighter jet, helping you fight more effectively in the air. On top of that, the game features deep customization—different weapons, shields, and equipment—so there are hundreds of combinations to explore.
Gameplay
Sky Force Reloaded is a widely loved top-down shoot ’em up developed by Infinite Dreams. It’s an upgraded follow-up to the original Sky Force, a title many players consider legendary.
In Reloaded, your job is simple in concept: take control of your aircraft, roam the battlefield, and fire on enemies. But success depends on more than shooting—dodging is just as important.
Enemies attack from multiple directions, using patterns and projectile types of all shapes and sizes. Some waves can become so dense that it’s easy to lose your bearings—until you learn the rhythm of narrowly slipping through bullets and then striking back with missiles to break enemy formations.
Difficulty ramps up as you go, with each stage carefully designed. Early levels may ask you to destroy only a small number of planes, but later on—starting around Stage 6—bosses can unleash attacks resembling hundreds of gun barrels. Expect constant firing, frantic movement, and tight control as you fly through heavy barrages.

Strategic Customization
Choose from a wide range of ships and loadouts to maximize combat power. You’ll often rely on shields, high-altitude missiles, and bombs to dominate long-distance engagements.
Progression & Strategies
Stage progression works like this: you begin with Stage 1 unlocked on Normal. Each level includes four medals you can earn:
- Destroy 70% of enemies in the stage
- Destroy 100% of enemies in the stage
- Rescue all civilians
- Take no damage
Medals are essential for moving forward. Clearing a stage is required to unlock the next one, but that’s not the only condition—you also need enough medals to qualify for the next stage. Earning all four medals on a stage also unlocks the next difficulty level for that same stage. For example, if you earn all four medals on Stage 1 (Normal), you can then play Stage 1 (Hard).
Difficulty doesn’t advance in a straight line. If you can’t handle, say, Stage 4 on Normal, you may need to revisit earlier stages on tougher settings to collect medals. You might jump between stages and difficulties to find the route that matches your current strength. Eventually, you may reach a point where medals are no longer attainable on any stage—at that point, you’ll need to grind stars to unlock more upgrades.
Upgrades: What to Focus On
Upgrades are the main way you push farther. There are many of them, and the Hangar can feel overwhelming at first. For example, there are 60 upgrades for the main cannon, plus another 60 for the side cannons.
Your first priority should be boosting the main cannon and side cannons, since they’re the fastest way to cut through enemy waves and increase damage against bosses. Once you’ve built enough power, it’s a strong idea to unlock additional weapon options such as the laser and bomb.
