Duet Night Abyss is an action-adventure RPG built around a dual-perspective storyline. You’ll play as two main protagonists with very different histories, meeting strange allies, dangerous demons, and a cast of characters tied to shifting plots. As events unfold, you’ll gradually piece together the truth behind your pasts.

The game offers many characters, each with its own skills you can unlock. Build your ideal team by choosing characters, then equip them with different weapons and gear. Combat supports multiple approaches—melee, ranged, aerial, and descent attacks—so you can land bigger damage while keeping fights exciting. Appearance options are equally flexible: characters and weapons can be dyed, and outfits can be changed to make your team look cooler and more distinct.

Demon Wedges (Equipment Items)

Characters and weapons can be equipped with Demon Wedges. These items grant stat bonuses and can even alter combat behavior, such as changing a weapon’s moveset.

• Use is limited by a Tolerance capacity system.
• You can lower a wedge’s Tolerance cost by matching it to the correct Track type on the equipment slot.



• Demon Wedges are obtained via Noctoyager Manual commissions, crafting, or the Spindle of Fate shop.
• Wedges can also be upgraded.
• Gold Wedges can be improved further than lower tiers using Amplification, which requires combining duplicate items.

Unlocking Characters (No Gacha)

Unlike many open-world RPGs, characters are not pulled from a randomized gacha. Instead, you unlock and strengthen them by collecting character fragments called “Thoughts”.

Thoughts are rare, and you’ll mainly earn them as rewards from specific commissions that consume Secret Letters. Secret Letters are purchased using Secret Letter Clues, a currency you can obtain through normal gameplay.
