Gameplay

In Legends, you command a team of mutants drawn from the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles franchise (mainly from the 2012 series, though certain versions of some characters may appear as well). Your mission is to fight off rival groups and defeat them.

Rewards are granted after each victory. Depending on the stage, you may receive a reward chosen at random or win prizes from a prize wheel that keeps spinning until you tap to stop it.

Some rewards can be used to summon and collect other characters—including both heroes and villains—so you can bring them into future fights.

Story Mode

The Story Mode features an original plot set within the 2012 series universe. It’s divided into seven chapters, with multiple stages in each chapter and varying difficulty.

The main storyline follows Leonardo as he searches for his brothers after an unexpected separation—and works to reunite with them. Along the way, Leo encounters and forms teams with a wide range of TMNT characters, including villains.

• Stage Ratings: After completing a stage, you earn a rating based on performance. You receive three stars (ninja stars) if you win while all party characters remain alive.
• Two Stars: You get two stars when one character is lost (and in any case that doesn’t meet the all-alive condition).
• Random Rewards: Each stage also hands out random items, commonly including level-up materials, mutagen, warp passes, and sometimes greenbacks.

Tournament Mode

Tournament Mode lets you battle against teams built by other players. Battles aren’t real-time—your opponent’s characters are selected at random and controlled by the computer.

• Schedule: Each tournament runs for one week and follows a theme tied to a specific character (for example, a “Mutagen Man Tournament” or a Dogpound Tournament”).
• Points: Winning earns 25–35 points. Losing causes you to forfeit 7–10 points.
• Tiers: There are multiple tiers, each with 100 spots. More wins generally means a higher score and better rank.



• Tier Movement: If you outperform the top score in your tier, you can move up. Over time, other players’ results may push you back down.
• End Rewards: After the tournament ends, you receive random rewards based on your final placement and total points. Pizza points, greenbacks, and DNA cards are usually included.
• Victory Prizes: Rewards after each individual win are determined by a prize wheel.
