Arknights: Endfield is an action RPG that drops you into the dangerous world of Talos-II, where you take charge as the manager of Endfield Industries. Lead your team to explore a wide, semi-open world and set up full production lines across different regions—so your operations can keep generating the resources needed to safeguard and grow humanity’s presence.

Strategy management is only part of the experience. To survive, you’ll also need a strong combat system. Assemble squads from a varied roster of characters, each with their own skills, then take on enemies throughout the world. Winning fights depends on smart movement, well-timed ability usage, and efficient teamwork. New updates continue to refine performance and reduce player workload, while adding fresh story content, new locations, and additional gameplay features. Stay tuned!

Gameplay

Arknights: Endfield is a real-time 3D action RPG with strategic choices layered on top. While the original Arknights focuses on tower defense, Endfield shifts toward a semi-open world experience that blends base building and strategic management elements.

Real-Time Combo Skill System

Your combat is built around a combo skill system. You control a team of four at the same time. During battle, you can switch control between characters, and each operator brings distinct skills and abilities.

Combat runs on a semi-real-time flow: you transfer the player’s control as needed, coordinate skill combos, and plan tactics to defeat opponents. The game includes several kinds of offensive tools, including:

• Basic attacks
• Tactical skills



• Combo skills
• Ultimate abilities

Basic attacks themselves break down into multiple move types:

• Normal attack
• Drop attack
• Dodge pursuit
• Execution moves

The four-person squad shares three skill gauges. Any operator can use one gauge to trigger a tactical skill. Gauges refill gradually over time. Operators you aren’t directly controlling will mainly perform basic attacks.

Strong hits from basic attacks can add segments to the skill gauge and also raise an enemy’s imbalance value. Once an enemy’s imbalance meter fills completely, they enter an imbalanced state, causing:

• Increased damage taken
• The next heavy attack to become an execution attack

This imbalanced condition doesn’t last forever. When it fades, you’ll need to rebuild imbalance again through continued, well-planned combat.

Base Building + Factory-Style Industry

Endfield also features a base-building system that mixes exploration with resource management and a factory simulation approach—similar in spirit to games like Factorio or Satisfactory.

In practice, you’ll gather materials from remote mining nodes using custom ziplines. Then refine and process resources at dedicated machines, and move them through conveyor belts for crafting. The system also requires careful planning, including:

• Electricity budgeting and power routing
• Input/output assignment
• Managing different ore types

Developers have mentioned a target balance of 50:50 between RPG content and factory-building content. That said, players can still adjust the mix based on personal preference. The base builder is designed to deliver progression items quickly, encouraging you to learn and expand your industrial complex as you play.

Characters

There are 9 playable characters, including your chosen persona, the Endminister. Like many gacha titles, you can select the Endminister as either male or female.

After choosing your protagonist, you’ll travel with several additional characters, including:

Perlica

Perlica is the supervisor of Endfield Industries, responsible for overseeing the company’s operations.

Wolfgard

Wolfgard is a young mercenary who once belonged to the Landbreaker clan and now lives on the outskirts of society.

Zahi

Zahi is a mysterious young woman known for having a large amount of knowledge—though much of it seems insignificant to others. She comes from a remote, unknown region, which is about all most people know.

Amber

Amber is a northern knight hunting monsters. She previously held the title of a soldier from the Order of Steel Oath.

Avivenna

Avivenna is a professional warrior and former armed messenger for the Talos-II General Chamber of Commerce (TGCC).

Angelina

Angelina was sent to Endfield from Rhode Island. She’s not only a capable fighter, but also a master of an unusual anti-gravity Originium Arts ability.

Chen Qianyu

Chen Qianyu serves as Perlica’s security guard and is a skilled operator within Endfield Industries.

Fjall

Fjall is known as the famous Beastslayer from the Order of Steel Oath. However, after growing tired of constant bloodshed and fighting, he returned to civilian life—and pursued a career in medicine.
