Red Ball 3

Red Ball 3 is a platform-and-puzzle game with 20 levels that each ramp up in difficulty. You play as a red ball, dodging traps and hazards while collecting stars to earn rewards. Be cautious: if you fall into a trap, you’ll be teleported to a nearby save room, putting your timing and patience to the test.

Once you finish a level, you can unlock new ball skins to change how your character looks and make your runs feel more personal.

Gameplay

In Red Ball 3, you’ll work your way through 20 levels. Each one blends platforming with puzzle-style challenges. Your goal is simple: reach the end without getting eliminated by any hazard, and try to collect as many stars as possible for extra points.

If a hazard kills you, you restart from your most recent checkpoint.

Boss and Special Sequence

The final level switches things up with a boss battle against Black Ball. During the fight, both you and Black Ball have a health bar. You can damage Black Ball by jumping on him. Keep jumping until his health reaches zero.

After you defeat Black Ball, the floor opens to reveal a cluster of buzzsaws. Then Pink Ball appears trapped inside a cage above the buzzsaws. The cage slowly lowers—so you must smash into it before it reaches the danger to break it and free Pink Ball.

How to Play

The levels are grouped into sets. You’ll begin with a batch of 21 levels. More levels are expected later, so check for new updates in the App Store.

• Controls are straightforward: move left or right, and press jump when needed.
• Your ball has momentum, so plan your movement—don’t stop too abruptly.

At the start of the game, each level requires you to collect up to 3 stars and then reach the final obstacle to complete the stage.

Understand Hazards and Tricky Objects

Many obstacles are fatal or require precision. For example:

• Spikes or pits cause immediate death—jump over them as soon as you spot them.



• Some boxes are designed to swing—these are often placed in risky spots, so you need to move quickly to get through.

Button Layout

• Tap the left or right buttons at the bottom-left to steer.
• Tap the Jump button at the bottom-right to jump.
• If you’re left-handed and prefer the layout swapped, look for a button switch option in the main menu.

Getting Stars

• Most stars won’t be collected just by rolling under them and jumping once.
• Often, you’ll need to roll back and forth to build enough momentum to reach them.



• Some stars are hidden inside hollow walls. If you’re near solid ground and you hear a specific chime, try rolling into the wall carefully to grab the star.

Note: After you collect a star in a level, it will remain collected even if you die later.

Skip a Difficult Level (Pause Menu)

If you’re stuck on a specific level, you don’t have to keep retrying forever. Use the pause button in the top-left, then tap the >> icon to advance to the next level automatically. Keep in mind: this will remove any chance to earn potential points from that level.

I really like this game. In Red Ball 4, the 9th level was extremely difficult for me, almost impossible—so now I’m trying Red Ball 3 for the first time. Let’s see how adventurous these levels are. I hope you understand what I mean.
