Cage of Tentacles-R is an adult-focused visual novel built around a distinctive, twisty style. It blends Shencun-style horror with strategic decision-making, drawing you into a disturbing world of strange creatures and unsettling choices. You play as a magical spirit, guiding her as she tries to escape the lair of tentacle monsters.

To survive, you’ll have to deal with psychological pressure, limited supplies, and hard moral trade-offs—while also piecing together a concealed, end-of-the-world plan. By managing your resources and continuing to explore this mysterious underground place, you can reach different endings.

Story

After finishing her errands in town, Yuria takes a narrow path through the forest that leads back toward her home.

Then—suddenly—a violent tremor shakes the air. A hole opens in the ground beneath her feet and swallows her whole!...

When she finally comes to, she finds herself in a nightmare she couldn’t have imagined—an eerie cave packed with tentacles.

“Seeding tentacles” have invaded the area beneath the forest. These creatures impregnate humans to multiply their numbers. To turn the people they trap into obedient “seedbeds,” they train their captives harshly, leaving them unable to resist the pleasure forced on them.

Will Yuria be able to keep her sanity and escape the tentacle labyrinth?!

Review note: “Wonderful game. There’s a slight learning curve, but once you get past it, it’s amazing. I’d play again—9/10. The only complaint is that you can only go through the pregnancy-and-birth route if you fail (become fallen). Getting luck level 3 is extremely hard, and I was trying to trigger it right before the final boss just to see a funny outcome, but the enemy trigger wouldn’t activate. The triggers that did work were wiped out quickly after I obtained the Elder Dragon. I also lost progress due to not saving and a page corruption issue on my PC with only 4GB RAM. Still, the game is great—I just wish impregnation enemies would trigger more often, and that you could deliberately choose to fail certain encounters instead of being forced to win. — damzit1”
