Tower Dominion Introduction

Tower Dominion Tower Dominion is a war strategy tower defense where you command the last line of defense. Shape terrain, place buildings, choose hero skills, and survive relentless barbarian waves in endless mode.

Tower Dominion

Tower Dominion is a war strategy tower-defense game where your kingdom is overrun by barbarians. As the commander, you’re responsible for building the final line of defense—placing fortifications, troops, and heroes in a smart way that takes the terrain and enemy march routes into account. Your goal is to deal maximum damage while collecting strong rewards to keep upgrading your defensive lines and your heroes.

Each hero has distinct skills and strengths. To reduce casualties, you’ll need to adjust your hero lineup based on the enemy composition you face. The game also includes an endless mode with nonstop pressure—how long can you hold the line?

How to Play

Before the battle begins, you choose a faction, a commander, and a difficulty.

Wave-based tower defense

Each match is split into waves, and every wave is organized into three parts:

  • Reinforcement Phase: pick from multiple doctrines, blueprints, and/or currencies
  • Place a new tile: you place a new tile every other wave
  • Place and upgrade buildings
  • Tower Dominion

  • Start the wave

Your main objective is to reach and survive the last wave without your HQ (headquarters) dropping to 0 life points. The wave count depends on the difficulty you selected.

Enemy spawning

  • At the start of each wave, enemies spawn randomly across all entry points.
  • The number and types of enemies depend on that wave.
  • Every enemy comes with its own stats such as life points, speed, passives, and movement behavior.
  • On the last wave, a random malus is applied for added difficulty.
  • Tower Dominion

By completing in-game objectives, you unlock additional options for future runs—such as new buildings, new building upgrades, new commanders, new doctrines, and even new difficulty levels.

Key Features

Build the ENEMY PATH

Control the battlefield by shaping the ground your enemies will travel. Expand and modify terrain tiles to create choke points, forcing enemies into devastating artillery fire—or guiding them into carefully prepared traps.

Height and pathing are your most important tools. Use them to control how fights unfold and improve your chances of victory.

Factions & HEROES

Each faction brings a unique arsenal, including its own biomes, towers, and strategies. Because every faction plays differently, your defense building choices and unit deployment will change depending on what you selected.

You get 10 unique heroes per faction, and each hero has their own strengths and abilities—so you’ll constantly discover new tactics and approaches.

Adapting to WARFARE

Tower Dominion

War doesn’t follow a script, so your commander can’t either. After each wave, choose upgrades and rewards to strengthen your plan.

Evaluate enemy advantages and weaknesses, then adjust your defenses to blunt their advance. Since tile placement changes the battlefield, no two battles play out the same way—and you’ll need to think one step ahead.

Endless Discovery

As you progress, you’ll unlock plenty of content. Heroes are gained through achievements, building upgrades are discovered along the way, and the Codex is packed with secrets to uncover.

With four difficulty levels, an endless Frontier Mode, and new challenges in every run, Tower Dominion is built for long-term replayability.

Useful Tips

  • Use terrain and height to your advantage: when placing blueprints, consider elevation. Putting towers and Durendal on higher ground increases defense range, letting you cover more area with fewer defenses—especially when waves get harder.
  • Extend your path strategically: one of your main goals is to extend the route every two waves. Don’t do it randomly—aim to create longer enemy routes, choke points, or paths that slow their progress. A longer route buys you more time for constant fire against enemies as they move toward your base.
  • Make the most of the Threat Report: this tool is easy to overlook, but it gives you a major edge. It shows what enemy types are coming next and which wave they’ll appear in, so you can prepare counters ahead of time.
  • Tower Dominion

  • Pick reinforcements that match your current situation: reinforcements after each wave are a big opportunity—use it. Choose doctrines and blueprints that directly help you handle what you’re facing. For example, many players prefer Durendal Position and Warwolf Position for strong defensive value.

Player Feedback

  • “I really enjoyed this game on PC, and the port was excellent. It’s one of the best tower defense games out there—probably my favorite and definitely in the top 3. The progression and replayability are genuinely fun.”
  • “Unfortunately, it doesn’t seem to support cloud saves on iOS. I’d love cross-save between PC and iOS, but not being able to access my progress on my iPad from my phone (or vice versa) is frustrating.”
