Baldi’s Basics Birthday Bash is an intense horror puzzle escape adventure. You’re dropped into an open-world school environment filled with eerie vibes and bright, party-colored details. Search for answers in scattered notebooks, stay ahead of Mr. Baldi, and make it out before things get dangerous. Expect distinctive 3D visuals, plenty of interactive objects, strange characters to navigate around, and challenging puzzles that test your focus and nerve.

Excellent Gameplay

Throughout the game, you’ll face math challenges that range from simple problems to ones that can’t be solved normally. Baldi—strict, watchful, and fast—starts chasing you quickly when you’re not careful.

Your main objective is to locate all quest items hidden across the school. The process isn’t straightforward. After a few easier arithmetic tasks, the situation escalates: Mr. Buddy becomes extremely upset and begins harassing students, draining their energy bars over time.

Only the boldest players can slip past his attacks and escape safely. Are you brave enough to try?

Fantastic Characteristics

Mr. Buddy returns in the hallway again—this time wearing a green, orange, and blue party hat. Instead of typical school talk, he greets players with a party message, such as welcoming them to his party.

When it comes time to claim rewards, the usual instructions are altered. The game also changes how item usage is described, emphasizing the selected coin and right-clicking the item to use it correctly.

• Every item is randomly placed inside a blue-green gift box.
• All BSODA and Zesty vending machines are replaced with "Crazy Items" machines that stock random items each time.



• A sign on the vending machine reads: "Get Crazy Items!"

The entire school gets a party makeover: balloons drift through hallways and classrooms, some doors spin open like revolving entrances, and multiple characters show up with party hats. The “Sweeping Pro’s” brush is covered in confetti, and the music for "Game Time" is updated. Even the “Bully” text changes, shifting from a bully-themed message to a party-themed one. In the cafeteria, you’ll find a large cake in the center beside a small elevator platform.

Notebook requirement: once you’ve collected all seven notebooks, the game forces you to reach the cafeteria exit last. That exit only appears after you’ve reached the other three exits first.

Final escape sequence: when you reach the exit, the ending doesn’t play normally. Colors return to normal, characters appear behind you cheering, and confetti pours from the ceiling. After that, you must use the elevator platform to reach the top of the cake and blow out the candles.

Attractive Features

• Item locations change every run, so you can’t memorize where everything is.
• Everything is wrapped up—until you pick it up and open it, you won’t know what you got.
• Food and drink vending machines can now sell anything.
• Two new features:
  • Balloon and cake decorations appear everywhere, and some of Baldi’s friends are dressed for the occasion.

Wonderful Performance

After you blow out the candles, the whole school building darkens. Other characters float to roughly the same height as the player, but they can’t interact or move. You can float above the floor to leave the elevator platform. On both sides of the cafeteria roof, corridor entrances lead to the Glitch School—a floor above the main building that resembles a glitch-style map.

You’ll also hear a rapid, random ruler-slapping sound that changes volume, but it doesn’t come from Baldi.

Glitch School notebooks: two rooms in Glitch School contain salmon-colored notebooks. These notebooks function normally, but when played, they generate strange glitch audio effects. Baldi repeatedly says “1” in both directions, looping continuously. The bass line instead includes “99 seconds,” delivered at a noticeably slower pace.

• Collecting these notebooks doesn’t change gameplay mechanics.
• However, it does increase the notebook counter.
• Each time you collect one and you answer a question incorrectly, Baldloon may say in a deep voice: "You need to collect two notebooks to use these doors."

If you use a cheat to answer the third question correctly, the music continues even if you’re not on the “thinking board.” Also, when you solve the notebooks below the school (the ones you collected), blowing out the candles can loop the audio—and sometimes a brief overlay message appears: "You need to collect two notebooks to use these doors".

One corridor leads to a puzzle room. When the correct number of Baldloon’s is entered, a wall opens, revealing a room with a circle of chairs and a blackboard, along with Baldloon.
