Beholder Introduction

Beholder Step into Krushvice 6 as an apartment manager in Beholder. Help residents on the surface, then spy under government orders. Your reports, side quests, and moral choices shape the story and outcomes.

Beholder

Step into a strange future where you take charge of an apartment building. From the outside, your job looks simple: handle residents’ everyday needs. But behind the scenes, you’re ordered to keep tabs on their conversations and personal belongings—looking for anything that could be dangerous.

The game includes plenty of side missions. You may choose whether to pass information up the chain of command, or you can use what you learn to pressure tenants. Every decision nudges the story in a different direction.

Key Features

Moral Dilemmas and Real Consequences

Beholder

Every detail you collect forces you to face hard ethical questions. Reporting a tenant’s wrongdoing could send them to prison, with consequences that may spread to their family and community. On the other hand, protecting them can put you—and the people you care about—at risk.

Beholder doesn’t ignore the ugly truth of these choices. Instead, it makes you think about what it costs to stay silent versus what it demands to sacrifice something.

Choices That Change What Happens Next

Your actions echo across Krushvice 6. What you do shapes the world around you, affecting both short-term results and the bigger narrative as it unfolds.

When a resident asks for help, you’ll be forced to decide: use their situation for your own advantage, or step in and risk everything. The game makes these decisions feel serious—and they influence your journey as well as the lives nearby.

The Risk Behind “Helpful” Promises

With low wages and constant supervision from the State, it’s easy to feel cornered. Blackmail can look like a fast path to financial safety, but the pressure of living under control may push you toward darker actions you never expected to take.

Beholder

That’s the core of Beholder: it examines how people behave when freedom and survival are on the line, challenging you to decide what you truly value.

Multiple Endings Depending on Your Decisions

The story isn’t a straight line. Each choice branches into different outcomes, leading to a range of endings based on what you decided along the way—whether you find redemption or get swallowed by the darkness. Each playthrough can feel different, with meaningful consequences.

What You’ll Do in Beholder

  • Ethics Tested: You play as a spy. You’ll use skills like eavesdropping and surveillance, while controlling how the building’s residents behave.
  • Constant Tension: Missions happen in a dark, uneasy setting. You’ll feel the pressure of suspense, and every task is delivered in a mysterious way. Stay focused and make smart decisions.
  • Innovative Gameplay: Every moment matters. You’ll carry out secret searches, track residents in multiple ways, and keep them within your view at all times.
  • Exciting Covert Actions: Missions are planned and deployed like a spy operation. What you can do depends on your experience, and the system provides the equipment you need.
  • Suspenseful Experience: You’ll report using your profile. Create and manage many different profile templates, and recording evidence creates an ongoing sense of excitement—fully immersing you in this covert role.

Helpful Tips

Talk / Search / Profile

  • Use these often: talking, searching, and profiling are the foundation of your work.
  • Talk to tenants and families: When you’re speaking with someone who doesn’t have an exclamation mark, you can uncover extra details about them and even about other residents. Go through the options unless the guide specifically tells you to skip something. Any information relevant to profiling/reporting will be highlighted in red.
  • When a tenant isn’t in their room: Interact with the door and choose the first option to enter. Then interact with the furniture and search its contents. While browsing items, when you spot something important, press cn_Y to record it in your notebook. You can also steal items using cn_A.
  • Planting an item: If you need to put something into a room, search the furniture until the content window appears, then choose an item from your inventory.
