Game Modes

5 vs. 5 Classic Gameplay

This is the most popular mode in Hyper Front. You’ll be matched against five players on the opposing team.

• Goal: eliminate every enemy player, or capture the enemy base.
• Teamwork matters: it’s a high-action mode where coordinated play is key.
• Use hero skills: bring your hero’s abilities into fights to turn the tide.
• Play with friends: you can invite them to join your squad.

This mode is ideal if you want fast, intense online battles set in a sci-fi universe.

Arms Race

Arms Race is similar to Classic, but with a twist.

• Win condition: collect 3 kills within the time limit.
• Progress: kill enemies and earn EXP.
• Upgrade: spend EXP to improve your weapons and gear.

Team Deathmatch

This mode follows Classic rules with one major difference: no respawns.

• Once you’re defeated, you won’t re-enter until the next round.



• Because one mistake can decide the match, you’ll need smart positioning and careful decision-making.
• It’s also a great option for beginners looking to learn how the game’s combat rhythm works.

Team Mode

Team Mode is built for players who want to team up with friends.

• Create a squad: form a team with compatible players.
• Battle another team: face off against an opposing group online.
• Communication is crucial: coordinate and use each player’s strengths to secure the win.

Characters

Storm

Storm is considered a medium-difficulty hero, though he was a frequent pick during beta testing—and for good reason.

• Skill 1: Storm throws a storm grenade that disrupts pressure at the explosion point, dealing a small amount of damage to nearby enemies. Cost: 300 Star Coins.
• Skill 2 (Cloudburst): uses the tactical map to create spherical cloud masses across multiple areas, lowering enemy visibility. Since it behaves like a gas grenade, it’s useful for distracting foes while your team pushes forward.
• Ultimate: generates a cyclone that pulls in anyone within its range, dealing damage and applying a vulnerability effect.

Blink

Blink is rated as an easy-to-play hero. She’s all about stealth—slipping into the shadows to strike from behind without being noticed.

• Skill 1: summons an energy cube that temporarily blinds her opponents.
• Skill 2 (Spacetime Leap): teleports through a short-range area, making her excellent for dodging and close-quarters fights.
• Ultimate: allows Blink to teleport to any location on the map, then appear at the selected spot—especially useful when the enemy team is preparing to deploy the Starcore.

Valkyrie

Valkyrie can support both offensive and defensive strategies.

• Skill 1: places an auto turret that targets and shoots any opponent who enters its path.



• Skill 2: creates a shield that helps Valkyrie stay protected while she eliminates enemies.
• Supreme Skill: scans her surroundings, marking all enemies in the affected area. After a short delay, a bomb drops from the sky and deals heavy damage to all marked targets.

Coldcast

Coldcast has mastered Ice and isn’t afraid to use it to slow enemies down and control engagements.

• Skill 1: throws an ice trap onto the battlefield. When an opponent steps into the activation zone, their movement speed is reduced and a countdown begins toward the explosion.
• Freeze effect: if an enemy is still inside the activation range when the trap detonates, Coldcast can freeze them for a short time.
• Ice wall: she can summon a large ice wall. While your team is shooting, teammates can use it as cover.
• Supreme Skill (big power): unleashes an ice storm across a massive area, freezing many enemies at once.

Blood Raider

Blood Raider is a strong character, but mastering his kit takes some practice.
