In Oppai Odyssey, you’re dropped into a futuristic, interstellar colonization age. You take command of the Agni starship and lead your crew through a wide-ranging exploration of the cosmos. Expect adventures and story events that unfold as you play.

As a former top student from the academy, you’ll need to make smart decisions to move the plot forward and earn the trust of your crew members. Choose poorly, and you may lose crew members along the way.

Over time, you can grow your crew into a full “harem,” unlocking deeper relationship scenes with your favorite girls. These interactions reveal more intimate animations and add extra layers to the story.

The game also receives ongoing updates—new girls, fresh storyline content, and additional animations—so there’s always more to discover.

One reviewer started with a downside: the beginning of the game felt a bit awkward, and the sandbox portion didn’t feel fully connected—mostly centered around sex. Still, they said the game improves over time, and by v0.5.1 it becomes an excellent experience.

They highlighted the cast as the real strength, noting that the characters are distinct and that the relationships between the MC and each girl (and between girls) are handled in interesting, varied ways. They also specifically praised the Nyx content, calling it some of the hottest material they’d seen in an AVN, and praised the Sybil/Noel storyline as well.

Overall, they rated it around 8.5–9/10, and mentioned they didn’t fully understand some negative takes about plot or Lym. As a new player, they felt her reactions were predictable and that the twists were easy to spot.

The reviewer’s main criticism was that the MC can feel insecure. Even though he’s introduced as a top student and chosen to lead the next generation as captain, they felt he doubted himself more than expected—though they didn’t think he was as bad as some reviews claimed.

On the positive side, they praised the sex scenes for being well written, fairly long, varied in positions, and well animated. They also said the girls look great both in and out of explicit scenes, with some body variety despite many characters having large busts, and with outfit changes that keep scenes feeling distinct. They described the characters as likable, including side characters—and even a lone femboy character, though they noted the femboy content is currently limited to one sexy scene.

Finally, they felt the story is well constructed, with solid worldbuilding, intrigue, and real drama. They said they’d likely keep playing even if the scenes were more “fade to black,” and concluded that it’s a high-quality AVN with plenty of content worth returning to as it grows.
