H-Soul Caller Introduction

H-Soul Caller Play H-Soul Caller: Kurou escapes his underworld past, becomes a Soul Caller, and battles possessed spirits while bonding with diverse girls in a dramatic supernatural adventure.

H-Soul Caller

H-Soul Caller

In H-Soul Caller, you follow Kurou, a former gangster starting over after his release from prison. You arrive in a brand-new city, trying to leave the past behind while meeting several striking women—each with their own personality and motives. As daily life unfolds, mysterious and supernatural incidents begin pulling you into deeper trouble.

With the help of a mysterious girl, you awaken as a Soul Caller. Your job is to fight off dangerous evil spirits while also safeguarding the women you grow close to. By progressing through multiple story routes, you’ll earn their approval and trust—eventually unlocking special, intimate animations as you build your own romantic harem and settle into a new life.

Story of H-Soul Caller

The tale begins with Kurou (default name), a boy who was abandoned young and raised in the underworld by a gang member. Over time, he becomes one of the group’s trusted enforcers. When Kurou is arrested, he refuses to let his past define him—breaking free and making a fresh start in a new place, determined to live normally with Ren.

Ren is a gentle girl who lost her sight while protecting Kurou, only to be abandoned by her own family afterward. Together, they rely on each other as they rebuild from nothing.

Kurou enrolls in college, where he meets Iroha, a warm and carefree classmate who quickly becomes a friend. He also takes a part-time job at a struggling café owned by Nora, a lazy and unmotivated woman. For a brief moment, things seem to calm down—until Kurou is drawn into a deadly conflict involving hostile spirits that can possess humans.

In the middle of the chaos, a mysterious girl steps in and gives Kurou the power he needs to fight back, transforming him into a Soul Caller.

Features of H-Soul Caller

Kurou’s history is etched into scar tissue and regret. Raised by the underworld after abandonment, he earned a reputation for cold, efficient enforcement. His arrest may have been inevitable—but instead of accepting prison, he chooses freedom and promises himself he’ll never return to that life again.

His “second chance” arrives through Ren. She protects him, loses her sight, and is later discarded by her own family. Now, the two are fully dependent on one another—bound by shared trauma and a desperate need for safety, forming the emotional center of Kurou’s new life.

A fresh start isn’t easy

  • School and work: Starting over means dull routines—college classes and part-time shifts.
  • Iroha’s presence: Kurou meets Iroha, whose innocent, carefree attitude brings a sense of normalcy.
  • Nora’s café: He also works for Nora, the laid-back owner of a café that’s barely hanging on.
  • Fragile peace: These connections are delicate, and Kurou is determined to protect the life he’s built at any cost.

The café becomes a sanctuary

The café isn’t just a job—it’s a place where Kurou can feel like he belongs. Even if Nora doesn’t show much motivation, the environment gives him room to breathe. He makes coffee, handles inventory, and does his best to keep the business alive, hiding his violent past behind a polite smile.

College introduces a new world

College opens doors Kurou never knew existed. Iroha’s innocence contrasts sharply with Kurou’s darkness, and she represents the kind of life he wants: simple, honest, and free from the sins of his past. Their friendship stands out as a bright spot in an otherwise heavy existence.

Daily routines set the stage

The quieter moments of the game focus on managing Kurou’s time between studying, work, and caring for Ren. These “ordinary” tasks build the groundwork for the larger, explosive events to come—making the eventual disruption feel more personal and more devastating.

Player Comments

  • Camera angles and previews look really nice, and the body language feels expressive. There’s clearly some quality here, thanks for sharing.”

  • H-Soul Caller

  • The art style is a bit intimidating for me, but for a first release it’s still a lot of points—3/5. With better writing, it could definitely be even stronger.”

  • Some parts felt off—like the timeline and how unrealistic the crime scene seemed. I also wondered whether certain elements (like a prostitute scene) could be optional, since it feels story-required but not necessarily unavoidable.

Also, with the kind of built-in physics and near-field interaction that VAM has, it’s surprising the condom has such a exaggerated base ring. It should be fixed—or at least not repeated. As for the writing, the story might work better with less anime-style cringe.

Overall: good start, but improvements would go a long way.”

  • Hi DEV—good start to the game. Interesting plot, and the love interests are very strong. I hope to see how the story continues, and I’d like more love interests to come. I don’t know if she’ll become one, but maybe the main character could change his personality and other aspects—his body and design are a perfect 11/10. That’s all for now. Greetings and good luck, DEV.”
