Brawl Stars China Introduction

Brawl Stars China Brawl Stars China is a fast multiplayer battle royale where you fight solo or team up. Choose brawlers, upgrade skills and gear, battle across unique maps, and earn rewards in Gem Grab, Duel, Brawl Ball, and Showdown.

Brawl Stars China

Brawl Stars China is a fast, multiplayer battle royale experience. You can jump in solo or team up with friends, then fight across a variety of modes such as Gem Grab, Duel, Brawl Ball, and Bounty Hunter. Every battleground comes with its own terrain, and victory depends on picking the right heroes, exploring the map, and upgrading what matters—your heroes’ skills, Star Powers, and equipment. Play through battles to earn plenty of rewards, including gems, badges, and character skins.

The game also runs limited-time events and season pass challenges, giving you more ways to grab extra rewards and keep your progress moving.

Game Modes in Brawl Stars China

Brawl Stars China offers a mix of permanent and temporary modes. Each one brings its own objective and map layout, so the way you play can change match to match. You can invite friends to join you, as long as you stay within the team size limit of that mode. Most modes use two teams of three, while others use different team counts such as five-player or two-player team setups.

Showdown

A battle royale-style mode where each team has one (solo), two (duo), or three (trio) players. In total, ten players (or twelve in Trio Showdown) fight for survival. Throughout the map, Power Cube boxes appear—collecting them boosts your attack and health.

Brawl Ball

A soccer-themed mode. Two teams try to score by shooting the ball into the enemy goal. Standard matches use two teams of three players, while 5v5 Brawl Ball uses five players per side. The match ends when one team reaches two goals, or if a side has an advantage after two minutes, or during overtime. Later additions expanded this concept with sports-inspired variations such as basketball, volleyball, and ice hockey.

Gem Grab

Gems appear in the center area of the map. Two teams—each with three or five Brawlers (or four teams in Trio Gem Grab)—compete to gather as many Gems as possible. A team wins by collecting and holding at least ten Gems for 15 seconds.

  • If both teams have 10 or more Gems, the countdown starts.
  • Brawl Stars China

  • If both sides end up tied in Gems collected, the timer pauses.
  • The timer resumes once one team regains the lead.

Wipeout and Bounty

Brawl Stars China

Both are deathmatch-style modes.

Brawl Stars China

  • Wipeout: Two teams of either three or five players compete (with four teams in Trio Wipeout). Teams must defeat 10 or 20 enemy Brawlers depending on the match setup.
  • Bounty: Teams earn points by defeating Brawlers. Each kill increases the defeated player’s value, so targets with higher bounty are worth more. A blue star is used to break a draw during overtime.

Heist

Brawl Stars China

Two teams of three Brawlers each race to break the enemy’s high-durability safe near their spawn. You must destroy the opponent’s safe before they destroy yours.

Hot Zone

A “king of the hill” mode. Two teams of three Brawlers each must stay inside the Hot Zones for a combined total of 100 seconds. The match ends when the combined requirement is met, or when one team has spent more total time in the Hot Zones throughout the time limit. A 2v2 version was added later as part of special events.

Knockout

A deathmatch mode where players cannot respawn. Rounds are won by eliminating the entire enemy team. The first team to win two rounds takes the game. A five-Brawler variation adds a twist: every elimination grants the remaining teammates extra damage and health.

Brawl Arena

Introduced in the April 2025 update. Two teams of three Brawlers attempt to destroy enemy turrets to win. During the fight, you also battle enemy minions to level up and increase your stats.

Key Features of Brawl Stars China

Fast 3-minute battles

Matches are built around short rounds of roughly three minutes. Because games end quickly, it’s easier to play between breaks while keeping momentum from one session to the next. Short rounds also reduce the waiting time between matches.

Real-time 3v3 team fights

Play with two teammates against an opposing trio in real time. Matchmaking connects squads quickly, and you can either invite friends for coordinated play or use auto-queue to get into games faster. This helps you coordinate without long preparation.

Multiple modes for variety

Switch between modes that change both the goal and the pace from match to match. Different objective rules encourage different strategies, so you can alternate between mastering fundamentals and experimenting with new plans. Rotating modes throughout the week helps keep gameplay feeling fresh.

Unlock and upgrade unique heroes

Build your collection by unlocking and upgrading distinct heroes. Each hero comes with a signature Super ability—if you time it well, it can turn fights in your favor and makes improving feel noticeable. Upgrades offer steady progress you can feel during battles.

Useful Tips

Know what carries over between modes—and what doesn’t. Brawl Stars China has four main modes to learn. For example, in Smash and Grab, two teams compete to collect crystals scattered around the arena. The first team to hold 10 crystals triggers a countdown, and if the timer reaches zero, that team wins. In Bounty, killing an enemy increases your bounty by one, and defeating a target who currently has a bounty on their head raises the bounty you earn further, helping set up how overtime and point pressure plays out.
