Angry Birds Go! Introduction
Angry Birds Go! Angry Birds Go! is a fast 3D go-kart racer featuring bird and pig characters. Choose karts, race varied tracks, activate limited power-ups, and upgrade for bigger rewards in modes like Race and Time Trial.
Angry Birds Go!
Angry Birds Go! is a high-energy kart racing game where you drive a cast of recognizable birds and pigs through exciting downhill courses. Pick from a variety of tracks, karts, and characters, and learn how each one’s setup affects handling, speed, and overall racing ability.
Every kart and character is built with its own performance and skill traits, so choosing the right combo for the track is key. Win races to earn rewards, then use them to upgrade your kart for stronger performance and better results. The game keeps growing with ongoing updates, adding new events, vehicles, and characters for even more fun.
Gameplay Overview

Angry Birds Go! uses 3D graphics for its kart racing action. Choose your bird and race in downhill challenges where your kart begins the run by being launched from a slingshot.
Game Modes
- Race: Compete against multiple AI-controlled characters.
- Time Trial: A solo mode—reach the finish line before the timer runs out.
- Versus: A head-to-head race against one opponent.
- Fruit Splat: Collect a required number of fruits before reaching the finish.

Controls and Driving Tips

- Speed is fixed—you can’t manually control it.
- Steering is controlled either through motion controls or on-screen arrows.
- Karts take damage from impacts. You can upgrade karts, and upgrades can also change the kart’s appearance.
Powers, Progression, and Energy
- Each bird has one power-up that can be used a limited number of times.
- New birds unlock by defeating them in boss races in each level.
- Coins are used to upgrade karts. You can gain coins by racing, or via crystals (which require real money to purchase).
- You can only enter races and challenges if your kart meets the required power level. Upgrading increases that power level.
- Characters become tired after five uses. You can restore their energy by waiting or spending crystals earned during races.

Telepods (Toys-to-Life) Support
Angry Birds Go! supports Telepods, a Hasbro toys-to-life system. By scanning the matching kart and character, you can add them to your game.
Jenga Mode
A Jenga mode can be unlocked either through a code included with a pirate-ship-themed Angry Birds Jenga board set, or by making an in-app purchase. In Jenga mode, you launch your kart down a ramp, smashing into blocks and pigs.
Modes in More Detail
VS. Race
You race against seven AI opponents. At the start, the opponents are Minion Pigs, but they’re replaced with characters you’ve already unlocked. Your opponents can also use their own abilities to gain an edge. After you win five times in VS. Race, you’ll receive additional tasks for that mode.
Time Boom
This is a solo race where the course is packed with glass and wooden blocks. Drive through the obstacles and reach the finish before a bomb explodes. After winning five times, more tasks become available for this mode.
Fruit Splat
Collect fruits to fill a gauge before reaching the finish line (in Sub Zero, you collect ice cream instead). Sometimes Minion Pigs will grab the fruits, preventing you from collecting them. Once the gauge is full, the fruits are replaced by Bird Coins. After you win five times, tasks unlock for this mode.
Versus
You race against a random opponent. Difficulty is split into Easy, Intermediate, and Hard, each with AI that’s tougher or weaker. Winning at higher difficulties earns more Bird Coins. If you have the Coin Doubler, you’ll benefit even more. This mode was removed in the 2.0 update.
Champion Race

Champion Race is similar to Versus. It unlocks after you win a race in VS. Race, Time Bomb, and Fruit Splat at least once. To complete it, you must win three races against the opponent. After you win those three races, the opponent is added to your character roster and replaces the Minion Pigs in VS. Race. Once you’ve won those three races, the mode can’t be played anymore.
Key Features
Special Powers to Gain the Upper Hand
In races where every second matters, using special powers can decide the outcome. Each character has a unique ability that can strongly influence race flow—such as knocking opponents off course or giving you a speed boost when it counts most. Powers add both thrill and strategy, and timing is crucial: launching your ability at the right moment can be the difference between winning and losing.
Customize and Upgrade Your Karts
As you progress, you’ll be able to collect and upgrade karts that fit your racing style. Customize your ride to improve performance on different tracks, boosting both speed and durability so you can handle tougher challenges.
