Polaris Office

The interface is focused mainly on editing, which helps keep the app efficient and makes it a solid office companion.

PDF Tools Integrated

Polaris Office

If you’re working with available PDF forms, the app lets you fill them out quickly. Entering information is simple, and submission or transfer is fast.

Seamless Compatibility

Support for different document types is one of its strengths. This means you don’t have to carry multiple devices or worry about compatibility when you’re on the move.

What Makes Polaris Office Strong

Performance is smooth on devices running Android 6.0 (Marshmallow) or higher. This helps ensure access to newer features and security improvements. The app also synchronizes documents across devices, so your files stay up to date whether you’re using a desktop, tablet, or smartphone.

Another standout feature is handwriting input. You can write directly on your screen, similar to using paper—great for note-taking, brainstorming, or adding a personal touch to documents. You can also insert images or video clips from your Android device to enhance documents and presentations with multimedia.

Privacy and security are also addressed. The app requests the permissions it needs to access external storage, which is necessary for editing and saving documents. You can manage these permissions to help protect your data while using the app.

Overall, Polaris Office brings together multiple tools for users who need reliable document management on Android. Its broad file support, collaboration options, and cloud integration make it a useful choice for everyday work with documents.

User Reviews

Polaris Office

  • “So far the best.” I tried several apps for everyday writing of simple word documents, and this one fits my needs perfectly. The free version wasn’t overloaded with ads. If you want to remove them, there’s a one-time purchase option, and in my case it wasn’t too expensive. It also includes several popular basic fonts, unlike some apps that only provide one or two rarely used fonts.

  • “5 Stars.” I’ve been using Polaris Office and it’s among the best mobile apps for handling documents. It’s lightweight, simple to use, and great for daily tasks. The interface feels smooth and it supports almost all formats. I’d like to see more advanced Excel tools—better formula support, data validation, and more options for everyday work.

  • “Good app, but billing issue.” The app is solid for its feature set. My only issue is that I upgraded to the monthly plan for $3.49 because I wanted to fill out internet forms, email them, or print them. I think I selected the wrong upgrade. I can’t find a contact phone number or email to request cancellation, so I’m currently being billed monthly even though I haven’t used the upgrade.

  • “Excel editing got worse.” For me, Excel editing has declined. In the solid edit box, the font becomes extremely large, while the font in the text box above is fine. After finishing editing, the font returns to its original state. Also, when I reopen a file after editing and closing, the document opens at a random position rather than where I left off. I’ve used Polaris for 6 years, but these issues have started affecting my workflow.
