Angel Saga Introduction
Angel Saga Angel Saga is an action roguelike RPG where you play as angel Mair to flee the underworld. Clear escalating stages, pick random skills, dodge enemy attacks, and level up for stronger builds and gear.
Angel Saga
Angel Saga merges fast-paced action with roguelike mechanics. You take control of the angel Mair and push through a dangerous escape route across the underworld. Along the way, you’ll face a variety of enemies and monsters, dodging incoming attacks and unleashing skills to defeat them. Between fights, you can level up, roll into random new skills, and pick up new gear to strengthen your build. With dozens of skills available, you can mix and match freely to create your own combat style—making every run feel different. The game also receives ongoing updates, regularly adding new skills and equipment.
Gameplay
In this action roguelike, each run clears increasingly difficult stages. As you progress, you gain new combinations of sub-skills and special skills, shaping your power for that particular attempt.
How skills and EXP work
- Sub-skills and special skills are obtained one at a time when you level up, and each type has its own EXP bar.
- EXP for sub-skills (also called power levels) is earned by defeating monsters.
- EXP for special skills is earned by defeating boss monsters.
- Once an EXP bar fills up from monster or boss kills, a skill choice screen appears after the stage ends.
- You may choose only one skill from three randomly offered

Progress you keep vs. progress you reset
- Along with skill EXP, you can earn account EXP and various resources by defeating monsters.
- When you start a new run, you lose the skills and skill EXP you gained previously.
- Your account EXP and earned resources are kept, letting you take on harder chapters next time.
- To grow Mair permanently, use account leveling to increase her abilities, and strengthen your power through equipped gear and upgraded skills.

Key Features
A Battle for Freedom

In the dark, treacherous underworld—where threats lurk around every turn—Myel (an angel who refuses to give up) is forced into a struggle for freedom. Summoned unwillingly to this cursed place, she must fight simply to survive, and your job is to guide her through the hardships that stand between her and escape.
The underworld is packed with terrifying enemies and deadly traps meant to keep even the strongest spirits trapped forever. But Myel isn’t helpless—she fights with divine power and an unbreakable will. Step by step, she battles through escalating encounters, each one more dangerous than the last, as she fights to reclaim her freedom and return to the heavens.
Unraveling the Mysteries of the Underworld
The underworld isn’t only a danger zone—it’s also full of secrets. As you guide Myel through it, you’ll move through a range of settings, from fiery hell pits to ancient, shadowy ruins. Each region brings its own threats, hidden hazards, and powerful foes.
Along your journey, you can also discover ancient artifacts, hidden treasures, and powerful relics. Collecting and using these items can help you unlock new abilities, upgrade Myel’s strength, and improve her chances of survival.
Mastering Myel’s Divine Powers
In Angel Saga, winning isn’t only about raw strength—it’s about strategy, timing, and using Myel’s unique divine abilities correctly. As an angel, Myel can call on powerful spells and techniques that can completely shift the outcome of a fight.
However, these powers aren’t limitless. You’ll need to decide when to unleash them to get the biggest impact. Every encounter demands careful planning and quick reactions as Myel faces enemies with their own strengths, weaknesses, and attack patterns. As the game progresses, you’ll have to adapt, testing different approaches and ability combinations to find the most effective way to defeat each new threat.
Strategies (Bullet Hell Focus)
Angel Saga plays like a bullet hell, a shooter style where you’re surrounded by massive numbers of enemy bullets on screen at once. In many classic shooters, getting hit usually means instant failure—often with a limited number of lives and waves of attackers. Here, the bullet hell format tends to be more forgiving than traditional shooters, though the screen can still become extremely packed with projectiles.
