Check enemies and focus down the biggest threats

If an enemy can deal heavy damage in a single turn, aim to remove them first on your next attempt. Outside of PvP, only a few enemies use taunts. Many enemies also bring annoying effects—such as healing, buffing allies, summoning more units, or applying debuffs and stuns.

The Role indicator can help you spot danger, but it’s often smarter to read their skills or observe their behavior the next time they appear. In most cases, prioritize dangerous enemies, especially ones that may die quickly but cause serious trouble if left alive too long.

You can inspect foes:

• Before battle: tap the enemy icon in the battle preparation screen.
• During battle: tap the Turn indicator to the right.

Sometimes, eliminating a lethal target matters more than chasing element matchups—just be careful when you make that call.
