In The Dreaming and Arousal of Puppeteers, you play as puppeteer Yuki and step into the dream world to uncover a disturbing mystery: people appear to be controlled by strange dreams. Along the way, you’ll face hostile creatures known as demons and use a variety of magical puppets to defeat them, piece together what’s really going on, and ultimately resolve the incident.

Story

This RPG with fantasy elements takes place in a modern-day world. Hidden beneath everyday technology and progress, dangerous entities called Yoma lurk in the shadows.

Because the Yoma are causing harm to humanity, an organization exists to fight them. Yuki—this story’s heroine—is a puppeteer belonging to that group. She’s exceptionally skilled at controlling puppets with magic and bringing down Yoma threats.

Then an unusual phenomenon begins: people seem to act as though they’re being controlled by peculiar dreams. The behavior changes depending on the dream someone experiences. At the same time, the number of Yoma continues to rise.

Since Yoma are creatures connected to dreams—and can influence them—Yuki suspects they are behind the odd events. She starts investigating what’s happening around town… and eventually crosses into the dream world itself.
