Tasty Planet Introduction
Tasty Planet Start as a small bathroom slime blob and keep devouring to grow. Tasty Planet lets you level up in size, transform into a massive threat, and face enemies that can shrink you.
Tasty Planet
Some games make you choose: be tiny or be huge. Tasty Planet flips that idea by letting you grow continuously. You control a slime monster—originally meant for cleaning bathrooms—that somehow keeps expanding until it can devour everything.
Even though you can become massive, you must start small. Your survival depends on constantly eating anything smaller than you, such as leaves, trees, fish, people, and rocks. Each successful devour makes you grow faster, until you’ve swallowed everything in your way.
Gameplay
The game is organized into levels based on your slime’s size. When you reach the required size, you can move on to the next “development stage.” As you progress, you transform from a small dust-eater into a creature capable of destroying planets.
To keep things challenging, the game sometimes throws unexpected threats at you. For instance:

- Hostile objects may try to eat you if you’re smaller than them.
- Enemies like police and tanks can shoot projectiles that shrink you.
- Handling these threats takes timing and positioning, adding more variety to each level.
Features

Devour with confidence
You play as the Slime, a creature built to swallow anything it can catch. The core loop feels similar to many “eat to grow” fish-style games, but Tasty Planet adds its own twist.
At the start, you’re a small blob of cleaning slime. To grow, you must absorb fine dust and bacteria. As you grow stronger, you can eat mice, toy pieces, coins, and more—so long as they’re smaller than you.
As your size increases, so does what you’re able to consume. But be careful: if you get hit by a bullet or collide with something larger, you’ll shrink instantly. That means you’ll need to dodge things you can’t eat right away. Your devouring run ends only after you complete the final objective. With your growth speed, your goal is simple: keep eating and aim for anything.
Eat in different places
Your slime doesn’t stay put—it keeps traveling to hunt for food. You may find prey in places like:
- Laboratories
- Bustling streets
- Gardens
If land targets aren’t enough, you can plunge into the deep sea and devour swimming fish. And if you feel ambitious, you can even travel through space to eat planets across the solar system. Wherever life exists, it becomes your next meal.
How objects and enemies interact
In the world of Tasty Planet, anything larger than Gray behaves differently around him:
- Rocks and similar objects block Gray’s path but don’t deal damage.
- Leaves and clouds can be passed through by Gray.
- Enemies can harm Gray. Carnivorous creatures, spiky hazards, and human combat vehicles may damage or shrink Gray if he touches them or gets hit by their shots.

When you’re affected this way, it directly increases the time needed to clear the level.
For objects smaller than Gray, there’s only one outcome: Gray swallows them.
Try different game modes
In Casual Mode, you just need to complete the level objectives to finish. Each level takes you to a new location and introduces different creatures to deal with.
The game also includes extra modes to broaden the experience, including:
- Timed mode
- Endurance mode
There’s also a two-player mode, letting you play with a friend.
Level Completion Achievements
To raise the challenge, Tasty Planet adds achievements to every level. Each level can award:
- Gold
- Silver
- Bronze
- No Achievement
The quicker you clear a level, the higher your achievement rank. So while the game itself may not be too hard to beat, earning all achievements is significantly more difficult.
Small Object Detection Feature
Because the shapes of objects and creatures vary a lot, it can be hard to tell which ones are smaller than the gray slime—especially targets with tentacles or hair. To help, the game includes a crosshair that highlights only objects that are:
- Near you
- Smaller than you
This makes it easier to plan your movement and avoid colliding with things you can’t eat.
Side Features
In the Tasty Planet UI, you can see Gray’s current size above the satiety bar. In the bottom-right corner, the game also shows the name of the food Gray just ate. These don’t directly change gameplay, but they add a bit of extra fun.
Early in each ecosystem, the game provides short, relaxing stories. They describe events from the world of Tasty Planet and follow Gray’s journey. The storytelling is intentionally humorous, so it’s worth reading as you play.
